Over at the Neatorama website there's a picture of a book carrier for bikes that lets bikers read as they ride. Are the guys who made this CRAZY??? I mean, isn't reading a book while you're riding an invitation to disater? There's been a fuss about being on cell phones while driving, and reading books while biking, I think, is twice as dangerous! At least you're more protected in a car (and wearing seat belts, I hope!), but on a bike you're exposed, with nothing but a bike helmet to protect you. I hope this thing never catches on, for safety's sake!

Don't worry. Darwinism will sort them out.

Thanks

I had to look up Jilliby - I hadn't heard of it before. Now I know it.

I bet you would have the same problem with Lillian Rock

I did Martin.
I like finding out of the way places that crop up unexpectedly through FT.

How far are you as the crow flies from Nimbin?

A book carrier seems a good idea. I've read a book while riding a bike. Got half way through chapter four, got off the exercise bike, went into the kitchen and made a cup of tea (just joking ).

Why not add a coffee cup holder, an ashtray, and a mini TV while we're at it?
