I've written a quiz on sandwiches. There are sandwiches from North and South America, Europe and Asia in the quiz. So.. does it go in Breads and Grains, International Cuisine or elsewhere? I'm exceptional at second guessing myself out of a correct answer so I'll leave the decision in the capable hands of the editors. Thanks!

I would think it to be an International Cuisine quiz with sandwiches as a theme. Presumably there are more to your sandwiches than just the bread.

Thanks LadyCaitriona. For once I second guessed myself into the correct answer. Cheers

Okay, I am planning a Challenge quiz about sausages around the world. I had planned to put it into Food & Drink > Meats, where there are several similar-looking quizzes, but this has got me wondering. My sausages will come from 10 different countries, so don't fit into a specific country, which is how International Cuisine seems to be structured. Maybe it should go on the top level there? I don't think I should follow the link to Word, as it is really about the food. Or is my first idea the best?

It is clear that the boundaries between different categories are often blurred, at best!

looney_tunes, I think your quiz would fit well into either of those categories. It's either a sausage (meat) quiz with an international theme, or an International Cuisine quiz with a sausage theme.

It comes down to two questions:
1) What do you feel is the focus of your quiz? Is it the meat or the international aspect? What do you plan on writing most of your information section about?
2) Where do you think people interested in playing your quiz are likely to look for it?

Thanks for the advice. As the quiz is still in the formative stages (I've picked ten sausages from a variety of different places, and have information about each, but no questions yet!), I will see how it goes. When I closed the planning document last night, it looked as if it might be focusing on the non-meat ingredients that help make the various sausages unique, in which case International Cuisine would probably be more comfortable.

The international category would probably give you more players than just the meat one. I usually play that by ear when I receive a quiz like yours.
