Muswell Hill London ?

Welcome to our forum oldmanriver, Such a controversial self introduction is not so usual here.
"Muswell Hill is a suburb of north London, mostly in the London Borough of Haringey. It is situated about 6 miles (10 km) north of Charing Cross. Muswell Hill is in the N10 postal district and mostly in the Hornsey and Wood Green parliamentary constituency."
Please tell us what bearing the position of Muswell Hill has to a daily photo thread? Thanks

Muswell Hill has been in London since 1965, before that it was in Middlesex although was London N10 postally for a lot longer. It's impossible to place it anywhere else unlike somewhere like Wembley or Edgware. And something I only recently discovered is although The Kinks say they're also from Muswell Hill the house on Fortis Green is in N2 which although in Haringey is still in East Finchley. Now if it was good enough for Peter Sellers to admit to I do wonder why they preferred to be from the other side of the border (although looking at the two I can understand). Adding here I lived in N2 myself for 28 years...

Anyway, having just inherited my grandparent's slides I have invested in a special scanner as many included our holidays from the 60s and 70s. This is the car (a Sunbeam Rapier) we toured Scotland in in 1969 after bringing it over on the sleeper from King's Cross.

No, not a lot, I think that recent rains have stirred them up a bit. They live in huge sack things in trees and when they become heavy enough if falls down then they all come out, along with all these tiny black pellet stuff that is incredibly itchy. I found them a bit later in one huge mass on the rail of the fence .. I was going to post it tomorrow but here it is
