0,2,4,6,8,12,12,20,16,??

2,4,6,8,12,12,20,16, _____30,20,42.....


In the above sequence, first take the alternate numbers starting from 2:

2,6,12,20,.....

differences are 4,6,8...

Now take the remaining numbers in the sequence:
4,8,12,16,....

The difference is always 4
