We have a grocery store here who on occasion hands out playing cards for games the store is having.

I was contacted by them yesterday to tell me I had won a man's Bulova Solar Watch worth 325.00

I was thrilled as I never expected to win .I just play for fun.

Has anyone here ever won a store contest? And if so what did you win?

I always fill in a slip when the supermarket has prize draws but never win those.

I won a day return on a ferry to either France or Guernsey (I went to Guernsey) when our local commercial radio station were in my local supermarket giving out scratch cards for a new ferry company starting up - they have since gone bust, the ferry company, not the radio station.

My aunt won a microwave and my sister a washer and dryer during grocery store contests. I work for one so I can't play at that one but I do try at others since I figure, hey if they can do it, why not me?

I'd like to win one...doesn't matter what it is really.
