Mummy duck had about a couple of dozen ducklings, a day or two old and so very cute. They have their place This looks like a beach scene but on our place we have a large salt lake and it's just the shore line on that. This is about as close as you can get since it is extremely muddy .. I was about ankle deep as it was here.

This is my japanese maple 'Shaina', chosen with care by my eldest son as my 40th birthday present. He chose well, I love japanese maples and have wanted one since I was a child!
