I'm almost hesitant to ask this for just one QQ question, but since I came up with such an alliterative title...

I have an idea for a question which deals with the observance of a state holiday in a certain US state. Nothing complicated, just a "Whose birthday is observed as a state holiday" kind of thing.

Should this be World, Geography, or, conceivably, People?

Thanks!

Maybe not Geography, but either of the other two should be fine. The World category is where the quizzes on US holidays are, and if the holiday is about a person obviously that would do well in People.

What is your approach to the question? Are you going to focus more on the holiday (traditions, etc.) or what the person was famous for? Let that be your guide.

I have a Question Quest Question too... would it be frowned up if I submit a single question, and then in, say, 4 months from now write a full quiz with a similar question included? I don't mean like literally copy-and-pasting the exact question and I.I., but a new question containing the same little piece of trivia? I've had one that I want to submit and I think it would make a very good single question, but I've also been toying with the idea of a themed quiz that that the question would fit into, I'm just not sure if I'll ever write that quiz...

I think it would be OK, especially if you slanted them differently - put the emphasis on different places.
