Well, I'm pretty well devastated. Miss Redgrave died this morning, at the age of 67. Fascinating woman, bright light and an awesome artist (always one of my favorites), too. RIP.

Oh, no. I'm sorry that we've lost Lynn Redgrave so early; 67 is not really so old these days. Her brother Corin died at 70 on April 6 of this year. This is too much sorrow for one family to bear in such a short time.

Vanessa is my favorite actor ever, but that doesn't take away from my high regard for Lynn's talent, and I'll miss her.

R.I.P.

Edited to change title.

Well, whoops! I was watching "The View" and Barbara Walters was given a bulletin and, I swear it, she said "Vanessa" Redgrave had passed away. Probably just a misread? Anyway, so sorry about the misinformation . I'm a huge fan of Lynn's body of work, too. How sad. If you ask me? I think ALL the Redgraves should live forever ...

My favourite Redgrave by miles.
RIP, Lynn.

I'll never forget seeing Lyn Redgrave perform live in San Francisco in a controversial play called "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You" back in the early 1980s. (I'll also never forget that the theatre tickets cost $9 each and it cost us $15 to park the car!). Lyn Redgrave played Sr Mary and she was absolutely magnificent. How she remembered all those lines was amazing! She was one of my favourites and will be sadly missed.
