Blame Spanish Liz and her baseball caps!
I am sure you have some prime examples of entertaining headgear!

Am I allowed a photo of myself with a hat on? I can blur my face if it helps. (A good trick if you can do it. )

Saw these hats in Split, Croatia. My wife bought the deep orange one at centre left.

I'll probably regret this but here's a photo of me (looking very dorky) in a 'Russian' hat.

I bought it from a street vendor in Berlin a couple of years ago. It was rather
expensive and I realised afterwards that I might have been better off trying
to haggle for a lower price. But as it was only my second day in the country
and my German is next to non-existent, I just paid up & went about my merry
way. We Brits are rubbish at haggling anyway!

I hope I haven't frightened people off with my picture. It's a tough one to follow I know.

Great hats! Love the Easter bonnet, Jane

As I'm getting the blame for this theme, I guess I'd better post something, eh? This is just a small selection of my baseball cap collection - I shall wear one of them this Sunday, to watch a certain event on TV.

These strange hat were photographed at the Tenterden folk festival in Kent, If you are in that area the first weekend in October go and have a look, its a great day out.

We both think that Hats and headgear may be good for an extra week as the weekly theme.
On that note, how do people feel about all the weekly themes lasting two weeks instead? Sometimes I feel a week is too short, and although the theme isn't changed, people could post another one in the 2nd week if they wish (that applies to the hats theme this week by the way.Feel free to post another hat pic.)

Sounds good to me, I often have more than one pic that would fit a theme

I'll be the first to post headgear:

Hedo Turkoglu of the Toronto Raptors when he broke his nose.

Here are some of my hats that are not baseball caps. These were Christmas presents a couple of years ago.

Sorry I have been absent from the forum for a while. My computer has been in and out of the shop constantly for the last couple of months. Finally got a new motherboard which seems to have fixed the problem.

This is my entry for the hat competition at work for last year's Melbourne Cup. The hat is decorated with various items associated with the Cup - small plastic horses and jockeys, fake money (coins and bank-notes), champagne bottles, horseshoes, betting slips etc. There is a picture of the actual cup on the top of the hat, surrounded by a racetrack.

That is just superb MG I hope you were the winner!
Which brings me to the idea of Racing Pictures, next weeks theme. I am closing this one and starting that. Thanks all!
