I have written a quiz on sports people (well-known track and field people, yet not necessarily US-based)

I assumed it went in people but can't find a section on 'sportspeople' under people. Does my quiz go there (and there just aren't enough quizzes on sports people to give it its own subcat) or does it go somewhere in sports?

hmmm...

I am just writing this to see if I can make this thread stop registering as having new entries since I looked - it isn't clearing itself properly when I return to the board.

Me either but I get quite a few like this.

I have no PC knowledge whatsoever so don't ask me how this works but someone told me to click on the yellow mark (don't know what you call them)on the very first post in the thread and it would fix it for me - it works.

I've just done it on this one and it is now marked as 'no new threads'

The 'yellow mark' on this one is the question mark before the topic.

It's worth a try

I'll try that next time. This is the first time that I have encountered a rogue thread that wouldn't automatically show itself as read! (Not counting when I didn't realize that hitting 'back' left it unrecorded - that was early learning stages!)
