I submitted a quiz for the "Something in Common" section of Brain Teasers but it was rejected because some of the clues/answers contain references to TV shows/movies/books/songs/etc.

After looking everywhere for the appropriate spot I really don't have a clue.

The quiz is very wide ranging, but ultimately each question comes back to a common word. I can't really see it fitting in anywhere but Brain Teasers... what subcategory could it possibly go in?

Questions that pertain to a bunch of a different media (TV, Movies, Music) may have a place in Entertainment. I'm not sure what kind of brain teaser you were aiming for, but Entertainment has a Word Play category. Alternatively, if it's just themed around a certain subject/word, it might go in Entertainment Mixture or Grab Bag somewhere.

I'd suggest sending a note to kyleisalive, and he can tell you if your quiz can find a home in Entertainment.

Thanks.. but the problem is that it is really *not* an Entertainment quiz, it is a smorgasbord with just some (maybe 1/4) relating to Ent. and I'm afraid it will be really misfiled if it goes there...

Well, check with an Entertainment editor, and if they can't fit it in there as is, they could give you some guidance as to how you might alter it so that it would be acceptable for the category, or on you might fit it into a different category.

Neat approach to a tribond-type quiz. Perhaps a General editor would be better suited? A few points in your quiz are Entertainment-related, but clearly there's a lot of general knowledge that requires nothing for Movies, TV, etc.

My suggestion is to send a message to one of them- they might have a better idea of where it fits.

I had suggested General to him as well.
