I have a problem, i am making a quiz that needs to use fill in the blank, but it won't let me use them because it says i am too new of a quiz creator.

How am i able to use fill in the blank with out deleting the work that i already made, as it doesn't let me edit more then one quiz at one time.

Note that i have already created the questions i am using on different sites so i do have some experience making this type of quiz.

If some one could please help me i would be grateful.

Take a copy of the quiz:
(a) if you're using Windows - copy and paste the entire quiz into Notepad or a word processing programme (Ctrl-A and Ctrl-P).
(b) if your using Internet Explorer - send a copy of the quiz to yourself (File/Send/Page by E-mail).

Won't this cause copyright problems?

Yes, it almost certainly would. Unfortunately we cannot accept material that has been published elsewhere, even if it is the author's own work. All content on FT must be original.

What if I were to delete my work on the other site, I'm pretty sure it would get more views here.

Another thing to consider with FITB is that most categories (apart from brainteasers) ask that the majority of questions are in multiple choice format, however many quizzes you already have on site. It might be worthwhile contacting one of the category editors to find out.

It would depend on the legal status of the content on the other site. If they hold the copyright over any content submitted to their site (as FunTrivia does on all the content published here) then deleting it will not help you.

Your best bet is to contact an editor in the category you wish to submit your quiz to via private message. Discuss the matter with them and point them in the direction of the other websites so that they can judge what the most appropriate action would be.

I also want to point out that just because a format works on another website, does not mean that it will work well here.

Word puzzles aside, there is almost no question that will not work equally well, if not better, in multiple choice rather than FITB.

I took a look at your quiz.

I am afraid that we do not accept quizzes with nonsense questions. Almost all of your questions are of that variety. I am sorry, but such a quiz simply doesn't have a home here, whether the questions are fill in the blank or multiple choice. Please do not submit this quiz, or your account may be suspended.

How's it going with the back-up; were you able to copy the quiz template for future use?

I did not realize that other sites should not be named in these forums.

I'm curious. Why does it NEED to be fill in the blank?
