Enzo's probably gone, right frown? OK, then It's the two doofuses now. Did I really (really?) hear Lane say something like (when Britney was eventual toast): "It's like seeing my good dog die ...", or something like that? Now, that just ain't right to say anywhere, especially on a highly-watched TV show. As a result? I vote for the other one. Hayden, isn't it? I guess I'm stuck rooting for him, now.

Yes, he did indeed compare losing Britney to losing one of his "good dogs". I think that's supposed to be a compliment. confused I was over Lane weeks ago when he gleefully described what he and his buddies do for fun: drive in the country in the dark shining lights into trees and shooting "things with eyes". I'd prefer to see Hayden and Enzo in the Final 2.

It pretty much sums up the year that there's more drama in the jury house than in the Big Brother house. Coming up on Sunday is the dreaded retrospective show, where the houseguests sit around the table and pretend to reminisce while showing off their terrible acting skills reading obviously scripted material. Don't get me wrong -- I enjoy seeing the clips of the season. I'd just prefer a straightforward clip show rather than an obviously staged discussion involving the houseguests.

Thus it is over and I guess it could have been worse, Lane could have won.

The debate over did Enzo or Matt create the brigade and the master gameplan was never settled. We only know what they showed us of that first week and to be honest I wasn't paying that much attention week 1 to that meeting. Did they talk about forming the side alliances on camera at all back then?

They want us to believe it is the Brigade season, I see it as the Cubic Zirconia season, it looks real, but on closer inspection it's see though and rather cheap.

Best word I can describe the uneasy feeling watching this season is that it wasn't Genuine, even the people talking last night seemed to be reading from a script, rather then hotly debating things.

All this talk of the how Brigade manouvered this or that, when all the houseguests on the live feeds could talk about is how the people in the diary room were manipulating them, seems ironic.

Two of the best compeitiors vote for Lane, that made no sense to me, but it would have gotten a strong reaction from me if Lane's key had been pulled instead of Hayden's.

The producers always disappoint me during the finale show -- so many opportunities missed! We know that all the houseguests will go home and watch the tapes and will discover the many things that happened without their knowledge. It would be a much more interesting finale if they enlightened them live on the show. Since there was debate amongst the houseguests as to who actually started the Brigade, it would have been sensible to show the clip(s) to settle that.

I don't remember, either, Bx, when exactly the idea of side alliances came into play, but I don't think it was during the initial meeting. I found it interesting how last night's finale show seemed designed to promote the Brigade as these brilliant game strategists. While it's true that their early alliance plus their "parachutes" gave them the numbers, it also allowed them to float through the game without making any power moves, which is what we viewers want to see. It's impossible to make the Brigade's gameplay exciting, no matter how hard you try.

The Diary Room manipulation is present in every season and on occasion they've succeeded at making the show more interesting. This season, most of the Diary Room's attempts have failed. The only thing I can say for certain that the Diary Room engineered this year was making sure that Matt was actually on the block in order to use the Diamond Power of Veto. Unfortunately for Big Brother, this year lacked the excitement of last year's Coup d'Etat, in which Jeff completely turned the game around and got rid of that awful Mr. Pec-tacular Jessie, who has probably gotten more airtime than anyone in Big Brother history and who I would prefer never to see or hear again as long as I live. (My personal belief is that he does these appearances for free just for the publicity and that's why Big Brother keeps using him.) The Diamond POV failed to create any drama, and that, I find, was pretty much the theme of the entire season: Drama Failure. Almost every attempt at drama failed spectacularly. The Saboteur twist failed -- thankfully, what a lame twist! -- the very first week. The big showmance of the season turned out to be a couple no one could stomach watching. The secret showmance might have been interesting but it was killed early in the game. The second saboteur twist was completely abysmal -- he didn't do anything except say things in his messages and leave a note under Enzo's pillow. The reunion of our star-crossed lovers Brendon and Rachel at the jury house fell flat when Rachel failed to even get up out of her chair to greet "her man". The only moment that truly created drama for the viewers was Rachel's return to the house for 24 hours.

Brendon and Rachel were the only jury members that I was unsure as to where the votes would go. They were closer to Hayden in the house, but Hayden was the one responsible for getting Brendon evicted. It was interesting that Brendon claimed he was voting for who played the best social game, when all he ever talked about in the house was how he thought only true competitors who never threw competitions should be in the house. And Lane and Hayden pretty much played the exact same social game, anyway.

I hated the way they did the America's vote at the very end. "Oh, by the way, Britney won America's Favorite Houseguest. Good night!"

Strangely, I enjoyed the finale more than I usually do. I knew who'd won Big Brother the second Hayden won the last HOH. It didn't matter who he picked. It would have been more interesting to see who Lane would have picked. But then, Lane proved his lack of intelligence when he lied on live television knowing that video exists proving otherwise. So he probably would have taken Hayden and come in second anyway. On this finale, I really enjoyed the reveals of the "big secrets". That's always the best part of the finale for me and I'm always frustrated by how little time they devote to it and how many secrets don't get revealed at all. And therein lies the reason this finale was more satisfying: There weren't any more secrets! Nothing else happened of interest to reveal to the houseguests. Which made for a very boring season, but a great finale.

I hope to see you all here again next year smile for a more entertaining season than this one!
