It must be true what they say about everything being bigger in Texas - even his ego and future expectations have swollen to outlandish proportions..  Hey, wait a minute...I'm in Texas too! I'll tell you what is bigger in Texas...summer temperature numbers! It's been over 100°F for the last 16 days! Plus it hit 105° today...8-22.

Hey, wait a minute...I'm in Texas too! Oops! But you are a nice Texan. I'll tell you what is bigger in Texas...summer temperature numbers! It's been over 100°F for the last 16 days! Yikes! That is rather warm. I much prefer summer to winter, but that is a bit over the top. We would probably only get about 20 days over the hundred in the whole season.

I agree about the 49ers getting smashed, alex smith is awful. I could see the washington win coming though. Singletary is the problem there... same problem as they had last year. Alex Smith is pretty darn good in a spread offense out of the shotgun. Instead, coach has decided to cater to Gore and in the process completely mess up the passing game. The 49ers could be good, but not as long as they've got a stubborn HC.

Welcome to the 2010 NFL Tipping Comp! Hang on to your hats, as we have a record 27 players this year. A warm tipping welcome to all our new tippers: Terry, Dizart, pyonir, George95, toocool4u, and N_Bomb. The only no shows from last year are ElfTwinkle and doomed.
We had five people get upset points, as dg_dave and Terry didn't have faith in the Cowboys to win in DC, and davegrilla, PaulE, and N_Bomb all picked the Chiefs to win at home. Since there are so many runners, each game that is correctly tipped by three or less get a bonus point. We also have a near miss, as dg_dave takes the top honors with 13/16.
How often do you get approximately 6/10 and have 254 correct tips? I'm sure this comp will set some records of its own.
Poor ozzz2002 takes the first piece of cutlery, with six correct.
