I added my name, too. I'd forgotten about the interview section in these forums. :-)

Greetings and salutations Anyone want to interview an old man who has died twice, nearly died once. And should have been killed another time. The interviews are for people to get to know more about 'familiar faces', you last visited the forums Mon Aug 16 2010 11:53 AM and have made very few posts. I am afraid that our members would not have any idea who you are unless you post more often so it would be pointless. So if people wish to be interviewed make sure that you are a frequent user of the site, visible so that people recognise your name.

That's sad, huh? We only get to see info on people who have been here forever. I have no real problem, except there are many who have an interesting tale to tell, and we will never hear those tales.
Of course there must be a line drawn somewhere...

If this member visited us and continued to post then by the time he comes to the top of the list of potential interviewees he would have been a familiar face so there wouldn't be a problem. He came and has posted 8 times then not returned for four weeks.

On that note, I guess I have a question. I know that I've been around for a long time and I might be a familiar face , but I don't post as often as I used to even though I get on here almost every day to read any updates. Is there a way that Admins can see when a person is just looking and how ofen?

If you log in we can see the last time that you did that, and the last time that you posted but only the last time, not a history of when you are on the site. It is easy to find all your posts.
You are a familiar face nevertheless.

LOL, well that's true, Ren, but I just don't post as often as I used to.

You have only 50 (currently) with more posts...out of over 10,000 forums members. I'd constitute it as familiar.

I have a feeling, while people know me on here, there's probably a large percentage that hate my guts to hell so...... Well, can tell tales and exploits as I flow on the CBs/Forums as life happens. Nonetheless, I do find it interesting to read the interviews of the people on here - cool to get some further insight on people on here.

I, for one, don't "hate your guts", Schoonie! I think yours would be an interesting interview, indeed ! Actually, I can't imagine anybody around here doing any 'hating', much. And if they do? It'd probably be a good idea to stop it.

I would imagine that one's feelings about a person would not affect an interview, so why mention people's opinion of you? That is irrelevant to this thread.

Don't sweat it, grin emoticon was meant to show that line as tongue in cheek. Stuthehistoryguy, it wasn't so much stopping as much as an intermission... edit: thanks, gatsby. Seriously, this isn't a site where I see too much directed hate towards any specific individuals on here - no real reason to. I mean, we might throw the occasional gibes (which can sometimes admittedly go overboard) on here but I've always considered it to be all in good fun - the internet is a good temporary escape from real life.

Wow Schoonie, you have a wife? Imagine that! I also think you may be a very interesting 'interview' even though, I have this: "You're so much cooler online" thing in my head...We'll see!

Nah, I'm not married. I was just goofing around with Stu's comment.

So, Schoonie, is Christine O'Donnell as much fun in real life as she is on TV?

This is now right off topic. The thread is now redundant anyway, question asked and answered.
