This one comes from the "definitions" part.
"observably is in an imperceptible manner or to an imperceptible degree".
Personally I consider observable and imperceptible as true antonyms.

How would you define the verb "to kneecap"? Since it is matching the verb "to shoot", it seems a reasonable fit to me. Admittedly, I first expect to see it defined as a noun, but in this game one learns to be flexible with those things.

My The fact that this game is not under FunTrivia control should not be an excuse for such ghastly sloppiness. As a matter of interest, who controls it?

The dictionary that is used in this game is somewhere online, the same one used for Word Wizard. Others who care more than me (I am content to just work with what it provides) have tracked it down. I have learned to relax and laugh sneeringly at it when it has that kind of error. I think it emanates from an American university that allows students to make changes to the data base.

My The fact that this game is not under FunTrivia control should not be an excuse for such ghastly sloppiness. As a matter of interest, who controls it? The game is set up by FT but it relies on an external dictionary, as do Word Wizard and Crystal Ball. The site uses a free dictionary - to do otherwise would not be cost effective. As with anything free, there are drawbacks and definitions can sometimes be baffling. We know from Wikipedia that information on there isn't always 100% reliable and it's likely that the same applies to the dictionary. Maybe it can be amended by users who introduce errors. I don't know, because I've never bothered to work out, which dictionary the site uses. From previous posts I understand that you can find it in the T&C but for me life is too short to worry about the occasional blip.

Drubbing and vanquishing can both be metaphorical, not just physical. The terms may well be used when a sporting team suffers a massive loss, for example. I would definitely match them the way the game did.
