Howie72 gets back to back HoFs with 10/12, this one shared with paper_aero, which makes it 4 of 5 HoFs for paper_aero now.

KrivoyRog gets the spoon this week with 6 correct. Krivoy tipped late and had missed the Friday matches.

Howie72 gets 2 bonus points for back to back HoFs. BxBarracuda and Srini701 had bonus points for solo picks this week.

After 2 weeks of breaking records for lowest percentage, we bounced back with 70.3% correct.

Paper_aero's season lead is up to 17, which is probably close to our average per week.

We had 4 matches we all picked and 1 that none of us picked.

Srini701 takes his first HoF of the season with a near miss of 11/12 and cuts into paper_aero's lead by 5, while solidly moving into second place, 10 points ahead of third.

BxBarracuda and Ozzz2002 split the spoon with 7 right this week.

We had 2 matches we all got right. We all missed the London Wasps win over Toulousse and only N-Bomb and Srini701 had the Ospreys beating Toulon. Other then that, all other games were tipped correctly by at least 6 out of 9 tippers.

In Banker news, 5 people got theirs right and 1 person missed theirs.

We all split the first match as Toulon won the first half and Perpignan the game. Six had Perpignan to win both halves and Bx had Toulon to win both halves. Bx was also the only one to miss the first half of the Leinster v Leicester match and he was joined by Howie72 missing the 2nd half of the Leinster victory.

To all of our dismay Ulster took the first half lead over Northampton 13 - 10, but were shut out, to all our benefit, in the second half as Northampton got the win 23 - 13. Toulouse shut out Biarritz in the first half of their match 17 - 0 and they needed all of that lead because Biarritz came back to tie the game twice late in the match but Toulouse got the final score and win.

No one picked Perpignan to be the highest scoring team, with 29 points, so no one got the 3 bonus points, pape_aero & Howie72 lost a point by not picking any team to score the most, everyone else got 1 bonus point for trying. BxBarracuda got the lone solo pick this week for the first half of the Perpignan v Toulon match.

Ozzz2002 and Sypher got their first HoFs of the competition and gtho4 got his second. BxBarracuda got his fourth spoon of the year. Heading into the final round paper_aero holds a solid 10 point lead over srini701 and srini is 9 ahead of 3rd place, they are almost guranteed to finish as they are now 1 & 2. The battle for third is tight and between gtho4, Sypher and Howie72, with Howie trailing the other two by only 3 points heading into the final round.

First team in the final is Leinster, as they defeat Toulouse 32 - 23. Only Bx missed the second half winner of this one.

Northampton wins the second Semi-Final with a convincing win over Perpignan 23-7.

With this weekends matches, 2/3 of the final round is done. The finals will complete this round and the competition.

With 6 points up for grabs in the final round, 3 points for each half, first and second place have been decided. Paper_aero will get the gold after crushing the field, leading the whole way and srini701 has worked hard and will earn the silver. Gtho4 and Sypher are tied for 3rd with Howie72 having an outside chance for bronze.

Northampton dominated the first half of play, and Leinster dominated the 2nd half even more so and winning the Heineken Cup by a score of 33 - 22 over Northampton.

FINAlS

Everyone scored something for the final with most of the tippers having Leinster to be leading after both halves and scoring with the 2nd half pick, while N-Bomb scored with Northampton in the first half. BxBarracuda was able to break 100 by being the only tipper get both halves today.

As mentioned earlier congrats to the medalists, paper_aero takes gold and retains his title from the first competition, srini701 takes silver as he did in the first comp., there was no countback that I saw, so gtho4 & Sypher tie for bronze as they both shared the HoF with paper_aero & Howie72, 5 points ahead of last competitions bronze winner Howie 72.
