The franchise has only been in existence for 50...and yes, they had one postseason win before this year...and that was in their very first game!

They already have. Every flavor of the month team has them. Devil Rays of 08, Indians of 07, Rangers of this year, Angels of 02, etc. They all had them.

And I've been a fan since '96...when I moved to Dallas!

I never called you a bandwagon jumper, and I will not call them the Rays because a few people got offended by the devil in their name. I still call the Nationals the Expos too.

Well done (and VERY well played) to the Rangers in beating my beloved Yankees. The better team definitely won the ALCS.

This is a great World Series for me, I love underdogs, so far more interesting then a yanks v phillies match-up

I love the results. Being a poor Mets fan. I like that both the Yankees and the Phillies got taken out. This should be an interesting and fun World Series. It's good to see new teams in there. Screw the networks. This should be fun.

Who would you consider to be the biggest underdog in this series?

One thing I find pretty interesting is that Molina (catcher for the Rangers) played for the Giants up until a July 1st trade. An article I read said that even if the Giants win the series, they would present Molina with a championship ring for being a contributor earlier in the season. So either way, Molina would get a ring (assuming he didn't refuse it).

The Giants are the underdog according to Vegas, and I would agree. I say Rangers in 6. In any case it should be a fun series to watch, and I'm with fredsixties, screw the networks. I'm sure FOX is pretty upset the Red Sox, Phillies or Yanks aren't in the series...which makes me even happier. haha

Um, Sanchez is no surprise. He's been an all-star quality hitter for years now.
