Can someone remind me: what is the maximum length of quiz title in terms of characters and spaces?

I have a 47-character title for one of my quizzes (including spaces); however a 49-character title: 'Kazuo Ishiguro: 'An Artist of the Floating World' wouldn't fit, and I had to reduce it by 3 characters (removing An + space) before it would fit.

So I'm reckoning the max may be 48 ... confused

I've read somewhere that it is 50, as an author proposed a title with 53 words, and noted that they would have to trim it back to 50. I have never personally tried to write anything with such a long title.

'Kazuo Ishiguro: 'An Artist of the Floating World' is 50 characters, DSimpy.

I am led to believe it must be less than 50, since a 50 character title would not fit.

I've had a few quizzes that reached 50, which I had to trim (Crash of the Titans, followed by the level title, is just too long, had to make it COTT). ;-) Haha.

Ooops, SS, that's right - it is 50, but that's because I inadvertently put an additional 'speech mark' in front of Kazuo (in the post above) that wasn't actually in the proposed quiz title. So it was 49 really! blush
