I am in the process of creating a number of quizzes on books by my favourite author, and I have noticed that he does not, as yet, have a dedicated category. So far, I have found 2 or 3 quizzes relating to him under the 'S' category, but with more coming (hopefully), it would be nice to see:

Sanderson, Brandon

Thanks!

Get your quizzes online first, and the editor will create a new sub-category. I am not a Lit editor, but I know that they will set up a group after they have 3 or 4 quizzes.

3 is the number. If you are aware that your quiz will be the third, you could send a message to an editor in the category to be sure they notice it and set up a specific category for that author. (I am a Lit editor, and know that is the process, but still have to learn how to do it - this would be a nice chance!)

Yes, this would work very well as looney's introduction to category creation.

And there is a certain "oooooo LOOK" at staring at a subcategory listing page, and realising that every quiz on there is yours laugh

Haha, agreed, Row. Well, for me, I have a few where my quizzes are at least MOST of them. ;-)

I had the pleasure of receiving a message from an editor to tell me that they had created a sub-category for my quizzes. It felt like a real honour. I think a couple of other peoples quizzes have been moved into it as well, but I still feel that it's 'mine'.

Thanks for your responses. I've written one of my planned quizzes for Brandon Sanderson's books, but no change in category yet. However, I DID get a category created for my 39 Clues series of books quizzes. I agree, rossian, that it feels kind of nice.
