I am trying to organise my brother in law's laptop so that it is more manageable for him. He uses Windows Mail, and now Firefox instead of IE. I have pinned some Favourites in the Firefox sidebar but want to put a Windows Mail link there. Can't think or remember how to do this?

I don't think there's a way of having a toolbar button, link or bookmark that will open Windows Live Mail from the Firefox Window. There used to be an extension that added a button to Firefox for opening the default e-mail program a few versions back but it's no longer available unfortunately.

How about putting a shortcut to Windows Live Mail in the Windows Taskbar instead?
