Please could someone help me? I missed the episode where Penny and Lenord broke up. Can anyone tell me why they broke up please.

I love the show and it makes me laugh till I have tears rolling down my face.

Thanks.

I am sorry I haven't gotten back to you to thank you for the web site. I just have a small problem.
Could you please tell me what episode it is so I can watch it and hopefully not get a virus as I seem to be prone to getting them on my pc.
Thanks so much.
I just watched a marathon of the first two years of the show and I still found it hysterical.
Again thank you for the site I must send it to a friend of mine who has heard of the show but never watched it and I know he will like it.

PF, try either Episode 19 or 20 from season 3. It's probably one of those.

From wiki...

In the third season the relationship ended after Leonard prematurely told Penny he loved her and she realized she could not yet reciprocate. An unsure Penny simply replied, "Thank you" In order to win a bowling match against Sheldon's team, which included Leonard and Penny, Wil Wheaton picked up on the tension between Penny and Leonard and manipulated her into dumping him to break up the team. Shortly after the breakup, Leonard has a one-night stand with a physicist he admires when she stays with him on a short visit, causing anger and open disgust from Penny.

On New Year's day we're having a BBT marathon. Any episodes I may have missed, I'm sure to catch up on.

I must have been engrossed in some reality show when BBT first aired.

BBT is one of the most cleverly written and casted programs on television. One of my favorites was on tonight...the one where Howard pretends to be able to perform card tricks- specifically to irritate and befuddle Sheldon....Lynn

We have just discovered this show. Are any of the previous seasons available on DVD yet?

You can get the first 4 seasons on DVD, the fifth season is currently airing new episodes. One of the best comedies on TV right now, I actually wouldn't get the DVDs just yet since now that it's syndicated, it's on all the time.

All the seasons are on Netflix. That way you can see them in order. Syndication tends to jump around.

It really is something different and funny.

I'm catching up on the missed episodes myself. Always something clever to see.

This is a favourite series of my daughter, and I've found it funny, too, now and then. However, her brother, an engineering student, avid gamer and science fiction nerd, can't stand it - neither can her boyfriend, a computer science student and builder of intricate model airplanes. Hmmmm - what does this tell us?

Maybe the jokes are too close to the subject?

I can't imagine anyone not finding Sheldon to be a scream, as well as his justifications for all his habits.

When "the boys" use NASA or government tools for their own devices, I just crack up!

My son (with AS) loves the show and sees a lot of himself in Sheldon. Especially in the way that others react to a perfectly logical statement. smile

I've only just started watching BBT but I love it. It's amazing how the writers have made Sheldon almost lovable when in reality you'd groan every time he came near you. I think I'm watching too much now. In today's Who Am I? game I almost picked William Shatner as a former president of the USA. He'd have Sheldon's vote though! wink

Nope, if he's your friend you would appreciate the consistency and the entertainment. When I had a blog, I used to post some of the weird and wonderful aspects of the Looking glass world that is life on the spectrum. Now, looking at some of the teenagers that my friends have, their antics and rule-breaking, I am so grateful to have my Boy.
No groaning and yelling here.

I should have phrased that a bit better. I saw an interview with Jim Parsons who said that the writers do a fantastic job of making Sheldon loveable when in the wrong hands he could have become obnoxious and horrid. They done a great job showing the "Soft Kitty" side of Sheldon as well as the incredibly fussy and intelligent sides of his character. Of course now that I'm looking for the interview I can't find it. Anyway, I still don't know that I could live with Sheldon though!

On another note, does Jim Parsons (Sheldon) remind anyone else of Julian Clary?
