There were some slight miscalculations in the totalling of tippers points for the first 3 weeks. The miscalculations came in regards to adding the correct picks and seeds together. Below are the adjusted totals for the first 3 weeks. My apologies for any confusion. The Super Bowl Champions this year are the Green Bay Packers, who defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31 - 25 to win the title.
Rxbigdawg went wire to wire in his first competition, he held 1st place solo for all weeks except week 2, where he was joined by 3 other tippers. Rxbigdawg got 8 of the 11 games correct this year.
On the backs of their picks of Green Bay, gtho4 and themonarch move into the other medal positions. Gtho4 and themonarch tied for 2nd, gtho4 gets the Silver as he won the first tie-breaker predicting that Green Bay would score first.
Congratulations to Rxbigdawg, gtho4 and themonarch for making the podium.
7 tippers of 19 picked the Super Bowl winning team.

Thanks! Definitely beginners luck! First time I have ever won a 'pick 'em' type competiton.  ...so it is only fitting that I win the one that has no cash payout!  Thanks BxB for all the hard behind the scenes work.  I'll be around with the super 15 and march madness (if we have it?). So you can get payback then! I see a wooden spoon in my future...

Just remembered to come check the final standings. Congrats to Rx for winning. I'm surprised I made it all the way up to fourth. Looking forward to next season already. Thanks to Charles for running the show here, and to dg dave for running the regular season.
I tipped in the baseball tipping comp last season, and I'll probably have another go. I was a little confused on how it worked though. (I probably should have asked last year, lol) All the tipped-games were Saturdays? Was that it? I can't remember exactly. When it first started, I thought it was to pick who was going to win the best of 3 series. But like halfway through the season, I realized that couldn't be right. And I missed a few weeks along the way. I hope to do better this time around, now that I've got a feel for how these comps work.

Yes, MLB will be all the Saturday games every week, and the final day of the season which falls on a Wednesday this year.
That sign up thread will be posted in the next two weeks.
