Why does it not show me then?

The above is what I see...unless you can see something I can't.

For all I know it may be coded to be that way. :p
Like I said, it's easy to tell- you could always try submitting more than one quiz to the queue at a time, otherwise the text will change when you're able to do it. smile

It's just a bonus Terry added to the system for people who are speeding through the process.

It did state at one time a max submitted on the quote box you see above; it doesn't now.

That's odd, DGD. I wonder why. A bug somewhere, probably? lol.

And don't fret that you can't submit more than one at a time, DGD; I can't either. Some players with 20 quizzes can. It all depends on quiz submissions themselves, and how you work with editors, and such. smile

Doesn't the Max:X thing only pop up when one has a quiz actually submitted, rather than being there all the time?
(It says You have 1 quiz currently submitted for editor approval Max: X but if that lines not there (with no quiz submitted) then the Max bit doesn't show either)
Likewise with the quizzes under construction line too. That just says "you have no quizzes under construction right now" with no mention of a number, but once you have a template, it gives how many you have and how many you can have.

That is correct, Row. I thought this was the case, but didn't want to test it. lol.

No, I have none in queue nor any open template and it tells me I can have 10 open templates.

Hmmm, that's strange. I have never not had a template; so I wouldn't know what it says without any, but I did think I recalled that it says "max: 1" only when something is submitted. I have a feeling that is your "problem", DGD.

What Rowena said is correct. It will always tell you how many ongoing projects you can have (that's the '10'.. for some it's 'unlimited', for some it's '1'. etc) but it will only tell you how many you can *submit* when you have one submitted.

I don't have any quizzes submitted right now and there's no Max:X like Row said but it does show this under 'Your Status':

Your Status

The editors have identified you as being an exceptionally good, careful author. You are free to work on multiple quizzes at one time and may have multiple quizzes submitted at a time. You have 116 quizzes online.

DG, you should be able to check that part even without a quiz in the queue.

Awaiting Editor Approval

You have no quizzes submitted for approval at this time.

Note: Most quiz rejections are due to simple oversights easily spotted and corrected in proofreading. In order to improve your chances of getting a quiz online, please take the time to thoroughly preview your work before sending it to the editors. Thanks!

Current Works in Progress

None.

dg_dave,
open up a templatemate, write a few words, and then save it. With a bit of luck that may force the system to show the missing data re the max number of quizzes you may submit into the queues. If it doesn't show up, logout and then log back in again (this usually rests all the counters).

If that fails wait 24 hours for the system to rollover, and let's see what happens.

It really doesn't matter. I'm just a bit crabby with this major winter weather we've had here in Dallas. It sleeted Tuesday, and the roads have been icy since. I wake up to about 3 or 4" of snow now on top of that and am ready for spring!

To all the major sports organizers, please do not send another big event to Dallas...it causes major winter weather!

Hmm, it seems that if you can submit only one quiz at a time, you get a "Note: Most quiz rejections are due to..." but if you can submit more than one, it will tell you "the editors have identified you as..."

So if you see that "note", then you can submit only one. If it's not there, you can submit more than one. smile

Actually, I can submit multiple quizzes at a time (though I haven't yet had cause to use that ability) and still get the note about "Most quiz rejections... etc" under the Awaiting Editor Approval section, which is currently empty. The "the editors have identified you" part comes under Your Status. Hopefully that makes sense! crazy

The weather has improved...for now, but we have more snow tomorrow and Wednesday. Did I say I'm ready for spring? wink

I answered my own question the other day when it was slow at work.
