Rugby LeagueThe Engage Super League starts another season tomorrow week, so get your names in soon. The rules:
- Pick a winner and score a point.
- Pick a draw and score a point (draws are very rare).
- Default is equal to the wooden spoon score.
- Final placings will be decided on HoF/WS differential and then, if required, total HoF awards.

Welcome, everyone to the 2011 version of the Engage Super League. For those addicts who join every comp and are not sure whaat this one is about, it is Rugby League, with the majority of teams coming from England and a couple of French sides.
Four players scored five of seven games- N-Bomb and PaulE who live in countries where they actually play the game, and then we have illiniman14 and srini701 who probably would not recognise a Rugby League ball if it stood up and barked at them. 
ozzz2002 settled into his usual position- last- with a mighty 1/7.
An unusual start to the season, as draws are not common, and the first round produced a 16-all draw between two of the heavyweight teams. |

Last week, all the top players scored HoF glory and the also-rans only got lousy spoons. This week, the whole ladder was thrown into turmoil as one of the leaders, N-Bomb scored diddley-squat, and his co-leaders both scored a single point each.
The three tipsters running last, paper_aero, Sypher and ozzz2002 all scored 3/6 to jag HoF awards.
Exactly half of the six games were picked by no-one as the highly fancied St Helens and Leeds lost. Rovers were also beaten by a French side- sacre bleu! Huddersfield saved us from mass embarrassment when they beat Hull. All in all, a rather weird week!

This week we tripled last week's pathetic score, going from 19 wins to 60.
The Siamese Twins, srini701 and illiniman14 are still setting the pace. Both picked 6/7 to stay on top, but that score was not enough for a HoF. That honour went to another pair of twins- Sypher and paper_aero.
Only three tipsters stayed in the same spot as last week- the two leaders and ozzz2002 who is stuck way back in ninth. PaulE and gtho4 had the dubious honour of being anointed with spoons. Their score of 4/7 trumped last week's HoF score.

Everyone either got a HoF or spoon this week, with either 6/7 or 5/7.
As a result, srini701 is now one point clear, with paper_aero moving up to joint second.
The bottom three tipsters all scored HoF's, just to make sure that the ladder stays tight- only five points separate first and last.

Last week we scored 61- this week we scored 27. A good thing that we do not do this for a living!
N-Bomb and BxBarracuda made some 'unusual' picks, that paid off handsomely. Both scored HoFs with four wins but to put things in perspective, that is one point less than last week's Spoon score.
srini701 still leads, but only by the narrowest of margins. The spoon-men this week are gtho4 and illiniman14 who both scored their sole point on Warrington's annihilation of Harlequins.
