Lots of changes again this week. 22crows only tipped a couple different from the bulk of us and slipped from first to fifth. Five players tipped 6/8 and all went backwards. That score would usually be good enough for a HoF award, but this week, SIX players scored 7/8! No-one picked the upset win by Melbourne over Essendon.
LeoDaVinci scored his second straight spoon.
paper_aero is the only player that does not have a spoon OR HoF award.

Some very astute tipping and all the favoured teams winning resulted in a combined success rate of over 89%. There were FIVE perfect scores- N-Bomb, Howie72 and gtho4 all maintained their positions of first and equal second; paper_aero moved up a few spots and LeoDaVinciis slowly catching the rest of the field.
ASA did not have a good weekend- he spooned it with a 5/8.

gtho4 now has FOUR HoF's in a row and doubled his lead over us mere mortals! Howie72, ozzz2002 and Sypher also scored well to move closer to the top.
22crows did not have a good weekend, scoring 4/8 and dropping a few places. Everyone else scored a 6/8, with most people tripping up on the West Coast upset of Carlton- it was their first win outside Western Australia this season.

gtho4 did NOT get a HoF this weekend, but still maintains a 2-point break. LeoDaVinci scored 7/8 and went from 13th to, well, 13th.
N-Bomb and ozfei were the spooners with 4/7.
In the footy, the Bombers upset the Cats in a tight one. The Doggies came back from a relatively lean spell to smash Melbourne. Collingwood continued on their merry way, disposing of Hawthorn rather easily and Carlton beat the Tigers by over 100. St Kilda were unconvincing in their win over the Roos, and will have to improve a lot if they are going to play finals football in 2011.

The three tail-enders all went for an upset and all three picked well, scoring 6/7 and closing the gap oon the leaders.
chogobad and BxBarracuda both got 4/7 and dropped a spot.
Geelong got beaten for the second week in a row, by West Coast and surrendered the competition leadership to Collingwood. The Blues went down to the erratic Bulldogs, and all the other games went to the favourites.

LeoDaVinci now has three straight HoFs and ASA has two on the trot. This week, they were joined by ozzz2002, who moved up into third spot.
Four of the leading group, namely gtho4, Howie72, N-Bomb and chocobad picked spoons and allowed the peloton to catch up a bit. ozfei and illiniman14 also spooned it.
The League newcomers, Gold Coast, added another scalp by beating Richmond, in Melbourne. Fremantle travelled across the country to beat Sydney, and Bxbarracuda was the only one brave enough to tip them. |

We are getting good at this tipping lurk- SIX perfect scores, with gtho4 getting his third for the season. Howie72, paper_aero and chogobad now all have two maximums to brag about. As a group, we managed a very nice 91.6% hit rate.
For most weeks, a 6/8 would score a HoF, or close to. This week, ASA and BxBarracuda both got spoons with sixes.
The other item of interest is paper_aero. Can he go the whole season without getting a spoon? |

I have already beaten my full 22 week season score from last year, which means I should break 100 this time lol. I would hope so since you are only four away from it. With nine weeks left, you should crack 120 (that's averaging less than 3/wk the rest of the season).

Four tipsters scored a very credible 6/7 this week, and what did they get for it? A SPOON, and a little stamp on their foreheads that says 'loser'. If your name is not gtho4, ozzz2002, srini701 or LeoDaVinci, you scored a maximum. For Howie72, paper_aero, 22crows, and Sypher and chogobad, it is a listing in the all-time records, for back-to-back perfect scores. As a group, we were only 4 tips off a perfect score, but 95.2% success is just phenomonal.
A lot of interest in the Geelong v Melbourne game. The Cats were only 6 points off equalling the highest ever score, and the Melbourne coach has already been sacked.
I wonder what next week will bring? More perfect scores? |

If any of them do it again next week, that will set a new record as well...three straight perfects! How in the world do you score sox out of seven and get a Spoon?! There are times that a four will equal a win!
