It was N-Bomb's turn to do back-to-back perfect scores this week. He has now moved into outright third in a VERY tight field. With only four weeks to go, any of the top six or seven could win, and almost all active tipsters have a shot at the podium.

The two heavyweight teams of the comp, Geelong and Collingwood, both had very easy wins and are three games clear at the top of the ladder. The last two spots in the final eight and the Finals series are being hotly contested by five teams. Sydney and Essendon are just hanging in, but can they stay?

A pretty-much status quo round and only a couple of minor changes to the standings. Most games went according to expectations, with the exception being the Tigers beating Sydney. BxBarracuda was the only one to get that result up.

Almost half the field scored 7/8, and srini701 and ASA scored spoons for 5/8.

It is still going to be a close finish. I am guessing that countbacks may decide this comp, especially the minor placings.

N-Bomb imploded where he should have exploded and drops from second to fifth. chogobad and paper_aero both scored 7/8 and leapfrogged him to join Howie72 in second. LeoDaVinci also scored a HoF.

Spoons galore this week with N-Bomb, Sypher, ozzz2002, BxBarracuda and srini701 all scoring 5/8.

Yet another lump of silverware for gtho4 who just fell over the line. chogobad made a desperate lunge at the end with a HoF-winning 6/8, but pulled up just one point short. paper_aero was one point further back in third and should be congratulated for remaining spoonless for the entire season!

Howie72 came in fourth, another further point behind, with the same margin separating him from N-Bomb and ozzz2002 who share fifth. Then followed Sypher, 22crows, ozfei, srini701, BxBarracuda, LeoDaVinci and ASA.

ASA, our resident Geelong supporter, would be in raptures after they demolished Collingwood by almost 100 points. He was the only one to tip that winner and he captured a HoF for his wisdom. LeoDaVinci and ozzz2002 also scored HoFs, whilst BxBarracuda bagged the final spoon of the season.

The finals start next weekend- can St Kilda succeed this year? Will Collingwood be in the Grand Final? Will Geelong repeat the dose? Will the flag go interstate- Sydney and West Coast are still in the mix. Essendon, Carlton and Hawthorn are all strong, too. It should be a ripper of a final series.

I tried but couldn't do enough. great year, think Friday night you'll see the winner of the GF, just not sure if it's the Cats or the Hawks. I think both can beat the pies in the GF, Saints are the only other side who have the experience of recent finals needed to win it but I reckon they are a Lenny Hayes short of being able to get through the Prelim. Thanks for running and posting the results each and every week ozzzz2002, will certainly have another crack at the title next year.
