Well, this isn't very imaginative, but I believe that it is the first time this word has been used in Scramble, and I am starting with the last of the last, so here goes:
HIKE, verb or noun, as in :
"My husband asked me to serve him breakfast in bed, and I told him to take a hike!!!!"

JOLIX (which I question being used in an everyday sentence, but...) minus the "J" plus an "A" and a little twist gives us:
LOXIA, the genus of the bullfinch
