Bertold Brecht and Ernie Kovacs

If this is correct (and God! I hope it is ) may I have another quest?

Questmaster,

I have peeked briefly into the art world, just long enough to mind out that the name Helga Testorf, is a well known one in art circles. A German woman, by the name of Helga Testorf, was a model for American artist Andrew Wyeth in series of famous paintings, "The Helga Series", part of the collection entitled "Lovers".

Sage, if you think I have captured the correct info here I dutifully request a further task....

You are indeed wise, oh inciteful Questmaster, I indeed had to venture to a place far away from those I am used to in order to discover, that the terms, 'yon','ybk','psso' and 'k2tog' are quite common words in Knitting circles....yep they are all pieces of knitting jargon, and individually they mean:

YON: yarn over needle
YBK: yarn backward
PSSO: pass slipped stitch over
K2TOG: knit 2 stitches together

whoa...and I always thought that knitting was a rustic relaxing pastime...there were more acronyms in the knitter's world then at a HR convention...if you think that i have stitched this quest up well enough Sage, I ask for still more...

Whoa man what a trip. Sure hope this is the dude you're looking for. Most research refers to Cannabis as a single species - Cannabis sativa L. (The word Cannabis comes from ancient vernacular names for hemp, such as the Greek Kannabis; sativa means "cultivated" in Latin; L. stands for Linnaeus, the botanical author of the name.) But some botanists who are studying Cannabis believe there are more than one species within the genus. Carl Linnaeus to be exact.I think. Wow feeling fried man. Got to get more munchies. Oh by the way, If this is correct sagedude I want another one.

Oh, most noble and wondrous Sage, I have searched high and low for the answer to QUEST 222, but I may have failed. I have found but one possibility, the bobbin invented and patented in 1849 or 1850 by Allen Benjamin Wilson. If this is what ye seek, then I have done my job well and am in need of another quest. If it was not this answer that thou didst require, then I am verily stump-ed, and I do humbly beg thee for hints, forsooth.

Lady Tangledrose - The guy you are talking about, Carolus Linnaeus, life span was (1707-1778). The one I'm looking for lived from 1501 - 1566. Hope this helps.

OH MY GOSH!!!! THE SAFETY PIN WAS INVENTED BY WALTER HUNT IN 1849!!!!
What threw me off was that I didn't know he had in fact invented the first sewing machine.
That race to the patent office was pretty critical!!!
Quest 222 done and done!!! May I have another?

Crusader KL. since the quest was for only 100 exp. I will give you a free hint. The singers also mention Charlie Chan, Boston Blackie and a Northwest Mountie.

If this clue doesn't help you, I will make a good offer to you that should be interesting.
