daily (#2) Q109. "Fair Play" award's are another way that countries have been able to grab spots in the European Cups, with three countries awarded an additional place each in the UEFA Cup Competition. In the UEFA Cup Competitions held between the 1995-96 and 1998/99 (ie 4 cups contested), which two countries won the most additional spots? For further points, which country had another spot awarded to them, only to see it revoked and why?pt1- Norway and England (with 3 wins each, in the 4 year spread) pt2- England had a spot in 96/97 but it was revoked because of fielding youth and reserve teams in the 1995 UIC

Daily Q108. The processes involved with deciding which teams qualify for annual European Cups spots in both the Champion's League and UEFA Cup are complex and frequently changed. In the Qualifying conditions for the 1998/99 Champions Cup (as it was then called)under what circumstances could a country have 3 teams qualified? Three teams from one country could qualify when the team which won the Cup the previous season finished outside the top two in its' own domestic league. The top two teams in that country qualify automatically plus the defending Cup holders makes three.

daily#1: Q116. In the Nintendo N64 Soccer game, "Superstar Soccer", how can a player gain Bonus Squads to the countries that are given to the player originally? For extra points, name the six special teams that you receive?ok, a little confusing since there are 2 games for N64 with "Superstar Soccer" in the title.. "International Superstar Soccer 64", and "International Superstar Soccer 98". but my whirl is this: (6 teams for the bonus are also bold) answer: If you finish the league at any difficulty and win, you can play against the (#1)World Stars. When you win the World Series at level 4 and defeat the World Stars, you'll have access to (#2)Euro Stars A, (#3)Euro Stars B, (#4)African Stars, (#5)Asian Stars, and (#6)All-American Stars. =)

Jabberwock 27-Sep-2000 11:51pm The Nine O'clock Gun: A loud old English sea cannon was placed in Stanley Park just over 100 years ago. New Q's...123 to 126 Q123. As of today (30/09/00) how many Broadway Shows (either still running or finished)have played for greater then 1000 shows continuously and how many of these are revivals of other 1000+ continuously run shows? Q124. According to "His Divine Grace", the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, what is the essence of all yoga systems? Q125. On what date did British band, The Sex Pistols perform as a band for the last time in Britain? For additional points, what exactly was the reason for that concert? Q126. The release of the first Sex Pistols single, "Anarachy in the UK", in 1976 went largely unnoticed by an unsuspecting public including the record company of the time E.M.I. It was only through a strange twist of fate that they gained their first "big break". The reaction that ensued from this infamous appearance set the wheels in motion and the course of musical history was to be altered forever. How, and with which personality of the time, did the Sex Pistols first come to national attention? Exactly what transpired that night that firstly led to their appearance at all, and secondly led to the subsequent public uproar and what date did all this occur? (5 pieces of info required here).
