Men's and Women's singles: Come one, come all, to the wonderful grass court venue of the All-England Tennis Club. In two days the draws will be announced for this prestigious tournament, played entirely on grass. Grass is Federer's preferred surface but he's been losing to Nadal consistently. It's also been a good surface to the Williams sisters who will both be back from injuries. Both Nadal and Serena defended their crowns last year, can they go for three? Last year's FunTrivia competition was won by ozzz2002 and Sypher and the year before by paper_aero and srini701 (who said ozzz2002 sucks at tennis?). Will they defend their titles or will YOU become the next champion and get your name inscribed forever on the FunTrivia Hall of Fame? Only you can decide that for sure, so sign up here... Scoring will be the same as that used for the Roland Garros, the Australian Open, and the US Open: 5 pts x 1 : picking the winner. 3 pts x 2 : picking a semi-final winner (picking a finalist). 2 pts x 4 : picking a quarter-final winner (picking a semi-finalist). 1 pt. x 8 : picking a quarter-finalist. and seeding bonuses of course... Tiebreakers as usual: Pick how many games the losing finalist will win, and second tiebreaker goes by total correct tips. Novak Djokovic continues his complete dominance of 2011 by knocking off Rafael Nadal in the Finals and shooting his record in 2011 to an astounding 48-1 (.980). He had already taken the World #1 ranking just playing in the final match.
N-Bomb wins the men's competition with 78 points, while our silver medalist Howie72 had the most correct picks at 11. N-Bomb went out on a limb and tipped Tomic to get to the quarters, and it paid off for him. Without that lone tip, he would have been pipped by srini701 for the bronze medal (both would have been 44, but srini picked 19 games to N-Bomb's 21).
Places six and seven, and also nine, ten, and eleven were decided on tiebreakers.
In an almost similar showing to the women's, ozzz2002 takes the Spoon here as well.
Note: rxbigdawg tipped after the commencement of the second round, therefore his tips did not count and that is why he is showing under ozzz2002. He is on here for posterity...sorry rx.

The Championships see a new champion this year, Petra Kvitova, and the first Czech player in 13 years to win at the All-England Club.
BxBarracuda beat N-Bomb on a tiebreak as N-Bomb did not pick a number of games the runner-up would win.
paper_aero nipped Sypher on a tiebreak, since paper_aero picked that the runner-up would win eight games, and Sharapova won seven.
Places nine through eleven were also off tiebreaks, with triviapaul saying 11 games, rossian 13, and gtho4 17.

The runner-up gets 3 points and seed. The two semifinalists get you 2 points and seed, while each quarterfinalist gets 1 plus seed.
