Can someone tell me why I receive pop ups whilst I am playing FT. They appear behind the game screen, and sometimes slow it down. (One of the popups is a U-Tube demo). The others are Google analytics (understandable), as well as "worldlife", also a site similar to e-bay, as well as a search site. They appear ONLY when I play FT. I am a gold member, and own the latest Mac computer, running the latest program. I have tried adblock, and have run Macscan, and neither can stop it. Some of the games I used to do in 25 seconds, now take up to 40 as it semi freezes. I am not the "sharpest tool in the shed", as far as computers go, so if anyone has any suggestions (in english), that I could try, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello mixit - Are you able to try logging into your account using another computer, just to be sure it is the same?

If it is (or you think it would be), then it might be an account problem, rather than a computer one. If this is the case, it might be worth mentioning the problem in the 'Feedback' forum. I thinks this is more where questions about the site or accounts are raised and get better exposure.

If it's not your account, have you scanned your computer for malware recently? I've had malware that puts out pop-ups so you think they're from your browser, but they're really from the malicious software installed on your machine.

Thanks for the guidance. I installed iAntivirus, and it seems to have done the trick. It found 3 trojans, which upon deletion, seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you all very much.
