You bring up a good point, Bx, but there is risk involved no matter which way they go this week. If Rachel puts up a newbie team and the other newbie team wins the Veto and uses it, Jeff and Jordan are the only team she can put up as a replacement. But if she puts up Jeff and Jordan first, and a newbie team wins the Veto and refuses to use it, then either Jeff or Jordan go home.

The big twist to be revealed on Sunday may be nothing more than Julie announcing that after the 4th Golden Key is given out on Thursday, the team play will be abandoned and everyone will play as individuals. But, this is Big Brother, so anything could happen.

After watching last night's show, I find myself rooting for Adam to at least make it to the jury house. He hasn't played much of a game so far, but he has worked so hard to get to Big Brother, and has said he has been applying ever since Season 6! Considering some of these people have never even seen the show ~ and Cassie didn't even apply, she was recruited ~ I think it would be really sad for Adam to go home so early in the game after working so hard to get there.

The benefit, and only benefit, to J/J choosing to go up on the block is so that they guarantee themselves playing the veto.

Yeah, Adam has toned himself down from the "crazy metal head" persona he has showed at times, so he deserves a full experience for sure, but that would mean either Dani loses Dominic, or at least one of the four from the returning couples goes home before the split and don't make the jury house.

I certainly wouldn't want to see someone who has never seen the show before to win. To go on a show that you have never watched is about wanting attention anyway possible.

I could not agree with you more about the motivations of folks choosing to play Big Brother.

I wish there was some way both Kalia and Lawon could go home next. They aren't adding anything to the game for me.

This season has taken a big U turn in terms of my enjoying it.

Rachel has lost it again and it might get worse then last year and it's sad to watch.

Danielle will get away with her very risky move to team with Kalia and Lawon.

Kalia who was a lump earned her HoH and while I didn't mind her while she was a lump I found her very distateful while all up on Dani all week and going after the Veterans. I don't see her being a good winner, as Dani and Rachel haven't been this year so far.

I have a sinking feeling it will be Rachel going up against Dominic, though America could pick Cassi too, and Dominic winning, because I can't see America voting for Brendon to return so that it could him vs Rachel to stay, which would be the best thing for CBS ratings.

I know what that sickening feeling about the Dani/Kalia/Lawon alliance, it's eerily similiar to the Pigpen alliance that tricked Jeff during his and Jordan's season. The asking production what they can do to mess with other people, like moving things around the house, that was the final tip off. This group is more dangerous though because of their ability to win competitions. The mind games from that group and it seems this one too, are planned out to be cruel, rather then last season where players were just mean to each other on the fly.

On last night's show: I thought the clip of Jordan holding her head in frustration while Rachel whined and cried was hilarious!

Agreed, then last night Jordan had to hold her ears, which is what I probably would have been doing, while Rachel and everyone screamed at the competitors during the competition. This is certainly a different year for Brendon, I don't think he would have stood a chance of getting voted back in last year by America.

I don't know why Brendon got voted back in THIS year! The edit he got on the show doesn't really show the whole Brendon, but I think a lot of people voted for him just because they were against Dani and particularly Kalia, and wanted to see the drama that ensued. Jeff and Jordan have a lot of fans out there, and those people would have voted for Brendon over
Dominic, just to keep Dani from regaining an ally.

Tweets from Alison Grodner after tonight's show:

"If the new HOH opens Pandora's Box, one House Guest in particular will be very happy. They used 715 gallons of corn syrup in tonight's HoH competition. That is one STICKY mess - it will take all night and 50 people to clean this up! The fortune teller might not have spoken tonight, but rest assured, she will be in the near future... We had no idea the ring was Cubic Zirconia."
