The other advantage of doing that is that you can save the small version as a .jpg or .gif, and if your software allows it, you can use a very low resolution image, say 72dpi. That means the image is much less likely to get stolen and sold on by someone else, whereas if you post full size full quality images any thief can help themselves. And some of your images are definitely worth stealing so best take what steps you can to avoid it. Unless of course you don't mind. _________________________ The Hubble Telescope has just picked up a sound from a fraction of a second before the Big Bang. The sound was "Uh oh".

Somehow the taste of Mum's blackberry jam made it seem worth the effort. Another introduced species which must have seemed a good idea, but acclimatised so well as to threaten its host country. Blackberries, foxes, rabbits, prickly pear - the list goes on. Don't even mention the Cane Toad! My daughter's camellias are particularly beautiful this year.
