My poor little Dipso-saurus, he was such a cute little Dipso, doing the disco and the calypso. His little feeling are hurt now, so now he is going to eat his troubles away by eating his chipso and dipso. Watch out Smiley, I think he has a crush on you. Open your door and you will find the sweetest little Dipso-saurus standing there with tulipso's in his hand and a song in his heart.

I'm onto you JoJo!
I know you are trying to immortalise Puff the Magic Dragonby using his species in this all important 50th Snake Game.

I know he is sad not to be used this time:
"His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain,
PUFF no longer went to play along the cherry lane."

I'm sorry Puff!
JoJo knew the rules.

LOL! It wasn't my fault, really it wasn't. Little Dipso-saurus wanted to come out to play and he had such a sad little look on his face that I was willing to forfeit my points in order to give him a little joy. He is quite the little charmer and when he saw all the beautiful women here, he just pushed me aside and took over. I told him that it was okay. Beware though, you never know when Dipso might be coming to your neighborhood to plant a big kisso on your lipso. You just can help but love the little guy.

###### ALL PLAYERS ######

First, I don't want to see any entries with Snake at the end, whether it is part of a word or not. This was originally to avoid the lack of E's in the game.

Sage and Ren - Both your entries will be counted as this is only a first offence. But, You will only get 1/2 the points for the entry. Don't push your luck !! LOL

Everyone Else - Usually by Day 3 all quirks and grey areas are sorted...So, by this assumption, any infringements on the rules will result in your entry as INVALID. No debate, just swift and deadly action....Muhahahahahaha

Well you'd better give JoJo her points as well.
There really was nothing in the rules about not submitting the name of a lizard as your entry and it is her first offense. I don't remember her ever posting a Lizard species in her whole time of playing Snake.

I can't give JJ her points as a Snake is a Snake and not a Lizard...totally different species...Even if it is a first offence !!

BTW....Chelseabelle - I need verification on your entry yesterday, I can't find your snake in the format your entry states...

Sypher--The verification is on it's way to you. My entry of yesterday is a recognized subspecies of Sibynophis melanocephalus.

Just to clarify--my entry of today is a Colubridae (I actually spelled it right this time) snake, which means it's a harmless, rather cute little snake. I hear that Fortunata has several as pets and is willing to give the loser of this game one as a special prize just for playing. After all, it's not whether you win or lose...... right, Auschic?

Shouldn't Sue get 1/2 the points for Monday's entry since it was her first offense?

Sypher--Just wondering why you gave me points for yesterday? I missed my time slot because I went to my daughterŽs Christmas Show and didnŽt have a chance to post in another slot. (She was very good, btw)

Chels--I guess IŽll be giving myself one of those harmless little snakes then because, by the looks of it, thereŽs no way IŽll be able to place anywhere but last! LOL

My disgusting cat (yes, the one I used to love but am quickly losing all respect for) hunted and caught a snake last week. On Monday she caught a bat, and last night apparently a rat. We found the evidence scattered about. I wonder what will be on the menu for tonight. Yuck!

Anyone who has scored already and then misses a day get's the default score for that day. That is why you got some points yesterday.

Dumbell - That particular group of Snakes are not Invalid, just their common-name. As I said before, it was to save everyone running out of 'E's, since everyone could have put SNAKE at the end of their entries.

Sypher - Are all entries supposed to be backed up by a web site that lists the name exactally as it was posted?

Not a moan Sypher, I posted without reading the whole name on Monday, went for the 's' and didn't notice the double word. Fair cop, however, why are the double words banned, they are legitimate species and wouldn't cause letter to run out as in the 'e' at the end of snake.

The reason they were banned because it would make things more interesting....No other reason....

Entries do need to have back-up if I can't verify them. Web-sites should not be posted and they will only be asked as a last resort. Needless to say, the site will be kept confidential and I will not use it myself....

**THE MOST VENOMOUS SNAKE IN THE WORLD**

NAME:
"Expecteria Trouserius"

(Trouser Snake)

LOCATION:
Throughout the world

DESCRIPTION: Varying from pink to black. Fang-less with a highly
venomous spit. Size varies from 3 to 12 inches, depending on its mood and
sub-species.

SYMPTOMS:
This snake attacks mainly women in the lower frontal abdomen, resulting in an inconspicuous bump.
Then a severe swelling occurs followed by excruciating pain after
nine months. The attack is not usually fatal.
....It has been known to attack men in the lower posterior section, resulting in an incurable disease
and consequent death.

HABITAT:
Usually found in bedrooms, but has been known to appear in the
most unusual places.

ANTIDOTE:
Various types of vaccine available for women. However, once
the venom is injected into the body, only drastic measures will ensure
complete recovery. There is no known antidote for men.

***WHAT TO DO WHEN ATTACKED***

TOURNIQUET:
Do not apply a tourniquet as the venom is too deep in the
body to be affected.

CUTTING THE WOUND:
This would be completely unnecessary and ineffective as the initial bleeding will stop after a few weeks
anyhow.

CONCLUSION:
This snake, although it is very aggressive and active, is not necessarily a vermin and when
treated with the right kind of respect, makes a wonderful pet.
