There has more and more talk about the invisible hand of production this season. It seemed to be there last year and in some other years, but it is getting more blatant. I have little doubt that diary room sessions, which sometime go on for over an hour I have heard, are steering the competitors. Last year I thought it was small things, this year I am almost convinced they are offering extra money to people to flip on others, or essentially evict themselves, feeding houseguests information, some of it false and all of it skewed. I think there was a point last week where Rachel said something like "There Production I Said It", as if production pressured her to give a juicy blurb for the 24/7 feeds. They have always pressured the guests to give over the top catty blurbs for the comemricals.
I think the editing they are doing on the houseguest Diary Room sessions and good bye messages are over the top. I even think they did an edit job on Shelley's Daughters interview. If I remember it correctly what CBS showed was Josie saying her mom should stop lying, I would bet money the real question she gave that answer to was regarding Rachel and BB edited it how they wanted. That also goes for the edit jobs on Brendons goodbye messages, they showed what were edited to come of as mean and nasty as possible form what I could tell.

Since Porsche won HOH, I think I am done for the year. No Dani, Jeff or probably Rach? No drama, just summer campers. yawn.

Wow, what a difference 24 hours can make! We had the most exciting feeds night of the season Wednesday night, and now we are potentially looking at our Final 4 in the very boring Kalia, Porsche, Adam, and Shelly. Wednesday night/Thursday A.M., I was up until 8AM watching all this drama unfold. It was really a shame they had so little time to devote to it on the eviction show ~ they could have spent a whole hour on it! Rachel and Dani had a conversation, and for awhile it looked like Rachel might flip and vote to keep Dani ~ or was she setting up Shelly to get hung out to dry when she voted for Dani? Shelly told Rachel that Jeff threw the Veto comp when he could have won and saved Brendon. Rachel confronted Jeff, who calmed her down (by lying), and then Jeff and Jordan finally, FINALLY, realized what a snake in the grass Shelly was. They called Adam up to HOH and told him Shelly was out of the alliance and made a final 4 deal with him and Rachel. The feeders were going absolutely nuts through all of this. Allison Grodner tweeted last night that Jeff and Shelly had a huge blowout 30 minutes before the live show, which Julie alluded to but no one has seen and now we don't know if it will even be shown since Jeff went out last night. Don't know how this happened, since all had agreed to make nice with Shelly until after the live show. Now Jordan's a basket case, poor girl, between losing Jeff, feeling guilty for losing HOH to Kalia, and finding out that Shelly had been working against them. She and Shelly got in a big fight about 5 minutes after the show ended. "Before and After" was won by Jordan in her season. Possibly, the producers hoped that she would win this one. It would have made great TV to see her nominate Shelly as they had all this great footage to support the storyline. Adam, by all accounts, should not have been out first. On the feeds, he knows what happened every single day. The other houseguests use him as a virtual encyclopedia. Shelly thinks he threw the competition. The new game we are left with is Kalia, Porsche, Adam, and Shelly vs. Jordan and Rachel ~ and that doesn't seem like a very exciting thing for anyone. (Adam, the ultimate floater, was talking to Jordan and Rachel before the HOH competition happened last night, but has barely spoken to them since. He's been glued Porsche.) Watching those 4 pick Rachel and Jordan off over the next 2 weeks while lying around the HOH room eating and sleeping doesn't sound like "good TV", as Rachel would say. I wasn't happy about the mix of vets and newbies this year ~ except for the return of Evel Dick, which I was really looking forward to (and look how that turned out) . Early in the season, I'd hoped to find a newbie to root for, but I just couldn't, and ended up rooting for the vets by default. I waited for a newbie to grow on me, but none ever did. So I was stuck rooting for Jeff and Jordan, as I find Dani very unlikeable on the feeds, and Rachel and Brendon are just too annoying to root for. Now, I find myself in the surprising position of rooting for Rachel. Who'd a thunk it? And if the Final 4 ends up being Kalia, Porsche, Adam, and Shelly, I just won't care anymore. P.S. I'll bet the "invisible hand" isn't very happy about this turn of events, either!

So much going on. Porsche opened Pandora's box which supposedly won 5000 dollars for both she and Kalia while it knocked the rest of the house back into pairs. That means, while Rachel and Jordan both went on the block, if either of them win the veto, they both come down and Shelly and Adam would go up.

Shelly came out of the DR yesterday and immediately fiddled with the Fortune Teller for about 3 hours (no joke). She got it to move, but not to talk or do anything else. The "Do Not Touch" sign has been removed. I think maybe the houseguests were supposed to notice this, but didn't, and the DR had to tip off Shelly.
I'm very excited that Rachel won POV, as that Final 4 of Kalia, Porsche, Adam, and Shelly would have been mighty boring. Now that Rachel has won the POV, Adam has (predictably) floated back to their side and pledged his alliance to Rachel and Jordan. (Which is funny, because before the POV, he told Jordan flat out that he had decided to align with the newbies.) Still, they trust Adam more than Shelly, so it looks like Shelly will be out the door come Thursday. It's fitting, really, that Jordan and Rachel now control Shelly's fate. The "Shelly Hate" that is rampant on the internet lately is really sad. But I do think that Shelly made a bad game move and did it in a really bad way. It was good to finally be able to see what led up to the Double Eviction show. It seems that Shelly really did out herself, because she thought that Adam was spilling to Jeff.

Tonight should be very interesting. We won't know what happens while the feeds are down before the live show, but so far, Jordan and Rachel are leading Kalia to believe they are voting out Adam, hoping that she will vote the same way and screw up her game with Adam. Meanwhile, they are definitely voting out Shelly.
I don't know if it's been in the media, but there has been a huge uproar on the internet after Kalia stated that she had thrown her dog against a wall. A lot of folks who were rooting for her no longer are on her side.
Adam had a long talk with the feeders last night in the backyard (it was no Dick At Night, but it was still nice!), and, if he is to be believed, he is now firmly on board with Rachel and Jordan. I do not believe we have ever had a cast who was so dishonest with America about the game they are playing, and Adam has indicated recently that he wanted to go to Final 2 with Porsche ~ so despite his statements last night, we are still a little iffy on where his allegiances lie. I hope that what he said is true ~ I would prefer our Final 3 be Adam, Rachel, and Jordan. I don't want to see either Kalia or Porsche anywhere near Final 2.

Just a couple of weeks ago, many were saying Adam would be a perfect person to sit next to in the Final 2 because none of the jury members would vote for him. However, he won the POV competition and, rumor has it, has now won HOH. The jury may be a lot more likely to vote for him now.
Rumor also has it that Kalia was evicted, as suspected. Adam told Jordan the other night that if he won HOH, he would nominate her alongside Porsche. Nominations really don't mean much this week, as the winner of the POV holds the sole vote and can send out anyone they want to, save for the HOH. If Adam indeed won this HOH, he is now guaranteed to be in the Final 3.

Kalia was evicted, Adam HOH and now Porsche has won the Veto. So, she has the only vote this week to evict either Rachel or Jordan.

I think having feeds at the jury house would be infinitely more interesting right now than the feeds in the Big Brother house.
Not having a show Sunday night because of 9/11 tributes really screwed the TV viewers, due to having to wait from Thursday to Wednesday to find out what's going on. The finale will be an hour and a half but they will have all the usual ground to cover, plus what they normally show on Sunday.
The egg beater Endurance was won by Rachel, and I really hope they show the aftermath of that competition, as it really proves that Rachel is the best competitor left in the house. Afterward, both Adam and Porsche were hobbling around the house like elderly folks, while Rachel was just zipping around like nothing had ever happened.
Part 2 of the HOH competition was won by Porsche. It seems to have been something that involved diving under water, possibly similar to the one Dick and Dani had to do in Season 8. Both Adam and Porsche were injured in this competition, too.
Rachel has already come right out and told Adam that she and Porsche have made a Final 2 deal and are definitely taking each other. Adam has since cooked up a plan to try to persuade each of them to take him to Final 2. His plan is to tell both Rachel and Porsche that if they take him to Final 2, he will convince the jury not to vote for him. But if he is sent to the jury, he will vote against the person who evicted him. He believes he would be the swing vote in the jury ~ that Kalia, Daniele, and Shelly would vote for Porsche, and Jeff, Jordan, and Brendon would vote for Rachel ~ so he believes he will decide who wins Big Brother. We probably won't see this conversation on the feeds ~ he doesn't plan to spring this on them until a few hours before the live show and the feeds will be cut Wednesday afternoon.
I still think Rachel deserves to win this one. She has played the hardest and has made it to the end, despite having a huge target on her back the entire game. I agree with Adam about how the votes would go, with one exception. I'm not sure Shelly would vote for Porsche. While she did say many times she would never vote for Rachel, she also said many times that she didn't want to see someone who had laid low all summer, like Porsche, win the game. No one could argue that Porsche has played as hard as Rachel, and I think that may tip the scales for Shelly.

Thank goodness Shelly voted for Rachel since Adam gave his vote to Porsche in the end.
My favorite part of the night was watching Rachel's surprise at hearing Shelly voted for her, followed seconds later by the realization that Jordan's vote was yet to come, and she had just won the game.
My least favorite part of the night was watching Adam's egotism. Never before has an evicted houseguest put on such a spectacle. He apparently failed to notice that the audience laughed when he told Julie that had he been in the Final 2, he would have won the game. Particularly annoying was the way he attempted to keep the focus on himself, even while casting his vote. "When I come back for All-Stars, I'm winning this thing!" Dick gleefully informed Adam during the backyard interviews about a recent Entertainment Weekly article entitled, "Is Adam the Worst Big Brother Player Ever?" That might have been mean if we had not just witnessed Adam's ridiculous behavior. Adam spent his entire interview with Dick trying to explain why he should have won the game. I guess he wanted to get in that speech for the jury that he never got to use.
I was happy with the results of the finale, but I'm almost always disappointed in the show, and this year was no exception. They try to pack way too much into their finales and we are always left feeling that something is lacking. The producers should take a cue from "Survivor" and have the gaming completely ended before the finale, leaving time for discussion about the game.

I am thrilled with Rachel winning the game. But, I am still baffled by what Dani and Kalia said about Rachel both on the show and in their following interviews. I have the feeds, and I would like to know what on earth Rachel said that was more personal than the insults Dani and Kalia said about Rachel on a daily basis. Hell, they were wishing harm on her supposedly unborn child and making jokes about accidental miscarriages and abortions. What could be worse? Dani, Kalia, Porsche and Shelly stole personal items, said some of the nastiest things ever and Porsche spiked the muscle milk with Benefiber which made Jordan sick. What on earth could be more personal?

A lot of times it's shocking to see people's reactions when they get out of the big Brother house. It's surprising how many people have a very distorted perception of themselves.
