There were no draws in the FT-PL this week. Three players scored 6 and won. PaulE was the fourth to score 6 but he lost, as srini701 banged in nine of them! He picked every single game except the loss at home by WBA.

The three leaders with a 100% win record all lost, giving us two new leaders: FussBudget are illiniman14. They're the only players left who are undefeated.

Three games were picked by no-one and one game was a solo pick, but only two FT-PL games eneded in a draw. The theoretical maximum was 6/10 for almost all of us and ozzz2002 duly won this week's HoF award with 6/10.

Manchester United were held to a draw at the Britannia Stadium, and no-one picked it. However, Dizart picked all of the remaining 9 games .. wwe84 was on the receiving end of this bagpipe HoF onslaught!

We had a bucket load of high-scoring games this weekend, and a few record-equalling performances.

The top-of-the-table clash saw Sypher score 8 but lose 8-9 to LeoDaVinci, who replaces him at the top of the pile. LeoDaVinci picked every game except the win by Swansea. DanielPoulson also score 9 goals .. he missed the draw at Sunderland.

The 8-9 scoreline Sypher v LeoDaVinci equals the all-time FT-PL record of 17 goals in a game, and also equals the all-time record of 8 for most goals scored by the loser of game. One more record was equalled this week when PaulE and N-Bomb drew 8-8 .. most goals in a drawn game at 16 goals.

The first three are separated by a single point, and are slowly drifting away from the rest of us .. ditto the two tailenders .. they're separated by a point and are slowly drifting away from the rest of us. The rest of us = 13 players, and we're separated by just 2 wins.

We have a rest a rest for a fortnight as it's a FIFA manadated break for international matches and Euro 2012 qualifiers.

We had another weekend of high scoring games in the FT-PL. For the 3rd staight week we had picks of 9/10 .. wwe84 missed the home win by Norwich (he picked a draw) and srini701 missed the away win by Bolton (he had a home win like most of us).

The three leaders from last week all failed to win .. two losses and one draw see N-Bomb at the top of the pile by a point. The first 7 players are now separated by 3 pts = just one win.

N-Bomb and PaulE are now undefeated in five.

LeoDaVinci lost to see his undefeated run end at six.

Everyone swapped places this week except for two: PaulE and szabs kept their spots from last week.

There are 7 games per round, and she mows down the leaders over the last 8 rounds and hits the front at the end; in the very last round! That has to be one of the greatest comebacks in any tipping comp in here over the last 11 years. @ Round 18 NRL 2005 : http://www.funtrivia.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/258716/#Post258716 The equivalent to that effort in the NFL would be someone winning when they were 25 pts behind the leader after 9 of 17 rounds (eight rounds left). 11/7 = 25/16

Nannaut did it with 8 rounds left, with 7 games per round and a deficit of 11 pts; which is the same as 8 rounds left with 16 games a round and a deficit of 22 pts = same distance from the finishing post.

Eight of us picked 4/10 and another seven picked 3/10 but, somehow, we had just one draw in the FT-PL.

illiniman14 vs. N-Bomb (2nd vs. 1st) finished 4-3, and N-Bomb is replaced at the top of the pile by illiniman14.

srini701 and paper_aero have now won 3 straight.

Sypher and rxbigdawg have lost 3 straight.

N-Bomb and PaulE saw their undefeated runs end at five.

everyone in the bottom half of the table (10th to 18th) kept their spots except for two.
