The last round of the FT-PL comp produced no changes. Everyone from first to last stayed where they were, except for szabs and FussBudget who swapped places. illiniman14 wins this by 8 pts as 2nd to 4th all lost .. the biggest margin all season. He finished with a bang .. he won 7 of the last 8 games! His 20 wins for the season is the 5th highest strike rate achieved by anyone in any FT-PL tipping comp (this year's comp was the 9th edition) .. and his 178 goals scored for a strike rate of 5.23 gpg is the 6th highest in any FT-PL comp (see Record Book at the end of this post). srini701 and N-Bomb kept their podium position despite losing their last match of the season .. srini701 scored 177 goals for the season at 5.21 gpg, the 7th highest in any FT-PL comp (he still holds the all-time record at 5.36 gpg). LeoDaVinci was the top goal scorer this year with 179 at 5.26 gpg, the 5th highest. Howie72 won his last 5 games but missed the podium by 6 pts. He won the Mr Consitency Award .. he scored 26 pts in the first half of the season and 26 pts in the 2nd half. Some of us improved in the 2nd half of the season and, on the other hand, some of us faded away something terrible. The FA Premier League title was decided on the last day of the season. Manch City were behind 1-2 after 90 minutes and scored twice in stoppage time (92nd and 94th) against a ten-man QPR. The game was shown live downhere .. Manch City had 19 corners to zero for QPR, and 81% possession to 19% for QPR. The tension was unbelievable .. the weekly FAPL highlights show was great but did not capture the tension of watching it live, unedited!
