One of the Red Arrows crashed today at an air display in Bournemouth.

That's very sad.

It is very sad news. The pilot didn't survive the crash. Nobody else was hurt though which is some comfort I suppose.

What is very sad is that his wife was there watching the display.

loaded up for my first-ever visit to a local vegie swap. I took jams, herbs and half-a-dozen fresh eggs - being winter, I had no vegies as such.
I came home with a cardamom plant, several clean jam jars, a handful of salad greens, some seed potatoes, and having enjoyed a cupcake, still warm. Not to forget the bag of dog fur clippings, a great addition to the compost bin!
This is a monthly event, and I'm going to enjoy it, I think.
