This is (the back of) Holdenby House in Northamptonshire. Actually the house you can see is only one wing of the original, the rest was torn down after the English Civil War. When it was built in 1583, it was the largest house in England. It had 123 large glass windows - a sign of significant wealth in Tudor England - and the owner/builder, Lord Hatton, refused to live in it until Queen Elizabeth had visited. "Elizabeth I slept here" was clearly a desirable cachet even then.

Towards the end of the English Civil War, Charles I was brought to Holdenby as a prisoner and he remained there until his trial and execution. In 1709 the house was bought by the Duke Of Marlborough and it has passed down through the female line to the current owners.

And as you can see, occasionally the house plays host to events such as the Northamptonshire Food Show, where all sorts of goodies are available. Or were, I bought quite a few of them.
