Christinap, s/he's adorable!!! It's just how I always imagined Ron Weasley's Pigwidgeon to be (and no, I've read the books but not watched the films).

Love the alpacas and the three little piggies and the eagle as well!!!

I managed to eat ONE tomato from our plants before they all got blight and rotted on the plant frown Hope your fare better than ours, Jill!

Here's a milestone with oodles of character:

I'm envious Copago. My tomatoes are very much a work in progress. As are the jam melons behind them!

That must be before my time- I vaguely remember a little hospital near the old library just before where I took the photo but not any others. There's always something new to learn about an area.

I'll edit this in rather than double post. The brook in Hampstead Garden Suburb

oh mine aren't from seeds .. we bought seedlings lol We've built a big garden this year - can't wait to get it all full and blooming. We have a problem with rabbits so have to have a fully fenced off area.

This was last night's sunset - thanks to a bushfire in WA it was quite dramatic.

Beautiful Copago!

I'm still stuck at the fair. Here's some prize-winning produce.

Another picture from my trip to Torquay. This is the Babbacombe cliff railway which goes from
the top of a cliff to the beach below. I didn't have time to go on it unfortunately but I'm
sure I went on it when I was younger.

(And todays special bonus, a shaky video of it in action. I spoil you all too much.)

The Spotswood Pumping Station, once an essential component of Melbourne's sewerage system. The buildings are now part of Scienceworks museum, and are often used as a location for film and television productions.

Love your cliff railway, Martin Cube, and your pastoral scene flopsy! As for your eagle, he looks fantastic too!

This is a photo taken on my mobile phone, so it's quite grainy. I liked the reflections though. Taken last week whilst my boys were paddling their kayaks down the river Blavet near to Inzinzac-Lochrist:

The sewage station looks pretty much the same as many of ours, I'd guess the engineers and design went throughout the commonwealth around the 20s and 30s.

A rather nice railway bridge in Oxted

I spent some time today whilst waiting for the bus trying to catch this little white butterly doing something other than just sitting there. He'd see me coming and fold his wings!

Another pastoral scene, taken from the same spot as the last one but looking west.

On my last visit to Newport Lakes I was greeted by this pair of very friendly ducks.
I formed the opinion they were escaped or dumped domestic birds, rather than wildfowl.
Does anyone know what breed they are?
