Spotted at the Essex Country Show

This is the fountain in Bowling Green park, Manhattan. It really is an oasis in the middle of all
the financial madness of the Wall Street, a very popular place for people to sit & eat their
lunch (if they can find a spare seat.) The street in the background leads towards Wall Street
and Trinity church.

The Clivias are in bloom.

A bit of urban industry for a change, this is in New Cross

Lobster pots in Norfolk.

My son filled up this pipe with water and now we have bees drinking from it. It makes quite a din when they come buzzing out

This is what happens when you have heavy rain clouds on one side and the sun shining on the other, it's always a dramatic effect.

A toilet block on a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. They're long drop but surprisingly clean and lots of loo-paper. Still if something gets dropped there ain't no getting it back

You mean, there's no getting a child back - they're the only 'things' there's a yellow warning about!

I caught these cuties at the Homosassa Wildlife Park when I was in Florida.

Fruit sign on the way to Broken Hill - you aren't allowed to take fruit into there from the East due to fruit fly. They sometimes have inspection points set up on the outskirts.

LOL! I once saw a similar sign on the border between New South Wales and Victoria. It said "Stop Fruit Flies" - I remember being terribly impressed that Australian fruit flies could not only read but were well-trained enough to stop at border crossings.

I didn't know fruit flies had stingers, like bees.
