Not a lot of movement this week, although LeoDaVinci has a "roommate" on the bottom rung.
Much better tipping this week as only two tippers did not make 50%.
Only one game went into extra time and none were decided by shootout this week.
Another bonus point for N-Bomb moves him to nine overall, and 45% of the total bonus points! Anyone willing to challenge him for most...or are we going to let him take all those points?

This was a road-heavy week as ten of them won. Under last year's rules, the default would have been ten, but it was four this year, with ozzz2002 and LeoDaVinci causing that. It didn't matter anyway since no one went default.
N-Bomb does it again by picking three more upsets and is the first into double digits. Next closest is ozzz2002 with a measly three.
Only one tipper puleed double digits this week, and that was our winner, George95. Well done to you sir!
We just missed 50% as a group by a few.

Only two games were picked by more than ten people and we tipped approximately 7/11.

Only two players scored double digits this week (excluding bonus points). Gtho4's 11 gave him the weekly win.
As a whole, we just missed 50% tipping, at 49.23%. Maybe next week we can get back over it.

LeoDaVinci keeps his name off the longest Spoon list by taking a win and climbing to within two points of coming out of the cellar. He's been so comfortable there that it'll seem odd that he may be ousted from there.
N-Bomb continues his bonusing ways by taking another, giving him 22 on the season, and two off his total last year. Can he get to 30? He has half of the total bonus points!
Four games couldn't be decided after 65 minutes of play, so they went to a sudden death shootout, similar to the podium.

N-Bomb roars back into his bonusing ways, by again taking half of them. He had a different counterpart join him on the games he bonused on.
Lots of movement this week, as only the top three and bottom two kept last week's standings.
Howie72 cut a little off of Sypher's lead by taking the weekly win. He had two join him in the winner's circle.

This was not a week to go default under the new scoring rules. Gtho4's performance of three tips gave triviapaul the same three points, as it is lower score of the wooden spoon or one less than road wins (10 vs 3).
No game had ten correct tips this week, and our 43.33% strike rate didn't help matters either.
Not too many people had faith in road teams, and that's why the weekly winner didn't score ten this week. Well done, ozzz2002, on picking up nine with eleven road wins!
N-Bomb is breathing a sigh of relief as he would have only picked up one bonus point, but as 12 tipped, he picked up two more, as did LeoDaVinci and ozzz2002 with another each. Ozzz2002 jumps into double digits on that front.
Quite a bottleneck vying for that third podium position. Two players are joint third, with one a point back, and three more a further point back.
Five weeks until we see the finish post. Will N-Bomb's string of at least two bonus point continue where he can end with over 40?

FunTrivia.com NHL tipping competition, aka, let's see who wins the most brawls on skates:

Howie72 will not give up without a fight, but he will need some help to overtake Sypher. Eight points in three weeks is not astronomical odds, but the odds are against him.
We have two players picking up their first awards, toocool4u with the win, and BxBarracuda with a Spoon. Sypher's streak continues to 42 weeks.
Still a bottleneck vying for that third podium position. We now have srini701 two points ahead of three players.
Three weeks until we see the finish post. Will N-Bomb's string of at least two bonus point continue where he can end with over 40? He needs to average less than two now a week to hit it.
