I got a phone call tonight from a very pleasant woman offering me reduced a subscription to "The Daily Telegraph".
She said I would get vouchers that could be used in 98 per cent of newsagents in "the UK, Ireland AND Scotland",
Now what inside information does the DT have on the current calls for an independent Scotland...?

Maybe they've been snooping on my plans to have that part of this island sawn off and towed out to sea. grin

Just kidding!

Although I used to tease my Scottish brother-in-law about it and say we English would introduce Immigration controls and Customs barriers... He hated the idea of the latter, "thae's too much tax on whusky already lassie!" wink

If he is a lawyer, hails from Edinburgh and is into ballooning, then he's probably my brother-in-law too!
