"Calle" is Spanish for street. Like "Rue" in French, it just happens to be put at the front of the name instead of after it as in English.

The example you gave states that "Street" or "Road" count for points but not for follow on letters.

I would say that zozo was following the rules as they were set out; but just using a foreign language.

Zozo...consider Somali your Guardian Angel !! You will get your points but please note everyone....Zozo's entry is Invalid the way she has done it. If 'Street or Road' is in front, you will need to have that letter to use it.

I actually won by two points, not one!! For some obscure reason, you gave one of my points to BL instead. Oh yes, I have learned not to rely on your mathematical skills anymore - ha ha! Now who should be sent to jail??

How about this for an extra rule....(hehehehehe)...Get three identical scores in a row and Somali goes to Jail !! with an extra 20 points !! LOL

The only reason why 'Street etc ' was put in brackets was that you wouldn't use the last letter for the start of the next entry. It still counts as points, it was a way for everyone to have a different letter instead of all week having entries starting with 'T' or 'D' or whatever....

Now, without looking like a total fool....I'm gonna go with my first reaction and disqualify the entry. I do remember myself saying 'Zero Tolerance' and that's what I am gonna do. Funny...somedays you can see me being a real pushover, problem with that is that I always come off worse.

Final Ruling - Zozo's entry is Invalid (No Challenges awarded...even though I pointed it out)

PS. Has anyone else noticed that BL is now lurking in "invisible" mode?

I had a question about whether or not we could use entries other than Street/Road/Station (as listed in the rules), but judging from some of the entries used already (ie: Arena) I guess everything goes...except utilities that is.

Thank you Somali for defending me. Can you tell me Sypher why my entry was wrong when Somali was told she had to start with a N not a D thereby ignoring the English word road. I used the same logic and ignored the Spanish word for road. How can one by right and one by wrong?
