Even so you had a little loss, JM, and that all counts! I was doing great this week, until the kids insisted on me bringing them to KFC (my fault, I've been promising them a KFC meal for about 2 months, it was time to cough up the goods). I blew my whole weekly 'extra' budget of calories, and a little more besides. But I've been walking and cycling, so hopefully I'll have a little loss to report on Friday.

Toni, here in the US, they have grilled chicken, and it is really good. Don't know if they have that in France, though.

Thanks for the info Dave! Um, I can't say I noticed it on the menu, but I will look again next time I go there. Hopefully not for ages, mind you

No change for me this week, so still 6½ away from goal. Isn't dg dave's tale an inspiration? The scale and JaneMarple were mine. By the way: JM, Copago and now your success, Dave, have been 90% of my motivation when it's been tough to stick to it, and for getting back to it when I slip off the bandwagon, rahther than giving up and giving in!

Not as precipitous a drop this week, but still down 1½ pounds to sit 2½ from goal! Should be there in about two weeks.

Hang in there, Dave, you've done amazingly well and I'm certainly convinced you're going to hit your goal, and probably before the full two weeks are up!

Congrats to you all!
So bloody hot here that exrcise is a bit tricky. If i do any manual work I count that as exercise for the day :p Have my eating mostly on track but must work on the exercise. Once school starts again (two weeks) I will be back into a proper routine.

I'm certainly convinced you're going to hit your goal, and probably before the full two weeks are up! Nope, it'll be next week. I'm still down two to sit st 15 st ½ pound, so ½ pound left to goal.

You're going to bust that goal next Sunday! After that, I plan to keep it about where I am at now for awhile. I'll probably post each week and want to ultimately lose about 10 more after I let my body catch up. Almost 90 pounds in 14 months is a lot to lose!!

Rather disappointed with a quarter of a pound weight gain this week, which makes me ten stone 1 pound However, a quarter of a pound is neither here or there, it should be shifted next week

One of these days I will get that elusive 30,000 step plateau! I've broken 27,500, 28,000, 28,500, and 29,000 for the first time ever and have only seen 27,000+ twice otherwise (27,018 and 27,254 - both on a Thursday!). For a measurement, 28,558 is a half marathon of steps!
edit: ended with 29,225 steps yesterday!

Well, I trumped my above post today by breaking these 500 step plateaus: 29,500 30,000 30,500 31,000 31,500 32,000 (yes, six different ones! ) By the time I get to bed, I'll have walked 14.7 miles today! Next Fitbit badge is at 35,000 steps in one day. I'll have to work on getting there at some point lol. edit: ended at 32,265 steps, or 14.8 miles.

After 14 months of counting, I have reached (and surpassed) my goal weight of 15 st. I weighed in at 14 st 12½ pounds, for a drop of 2 this week. Now it is time to level out for awhile (91 pounds later) and stay at about where I am for a few months. I'll continue to check in weekly but may not be changing weight much now. I even raised my calorie counts each day this past week, but walking over 131,000 steps (just over 60 miles) will also cause more calories burned. Will keep my counts about what I did last week and probably walk a normal week (a normal week is about 52-55 miles). Will see what happens doing that. Once I begin to drop again, I plan to drop only the rest of the weight above 14 st. That will get me back below 200 pounds.
