The colour brown.
Correct me if we had this already but I don't think so.
Its a nice warm furry colour for winter. Or of course if you are down-under it's for a sun tan.

Here's a nice, brown (but NOT fuzzy) porcupine from Alaska

When I was trekking through the jungle around Mount Kinabalu, I looked down into the BROWN mud and rocks, and thought "That leaf looks like a frog", then I realised "NO! that frog looks like a leaf". It's a Malaysian leaf frog. I was so pleased to have spotted him as he did blend in well with his surroundings.

At a lot of the Country shows we go to in the summer there is always a stand with owls. They rescue ones that have been injured, or where people have tried to keep them as pets. Then they do shows, and go round schools, that sort of thing, to try and educate people about them. The one in the photo was rescued from a garden shed where he (or she) had been kept as a pet.

Great photos! Love the owl, especially.

This brown (teddy) bear used to belong to my mother, who gave her a dress and a necklace and named her Patricia. Now she sits with several other stuffed friends, watching me at my computer.

It doesn't get much more brown than a chocolate factory!

Sorry I had to change the Title. I was late changing the 2-week theme and so made it 1 and a bit instead!
Means a new theme on Sunday 22nd Jan, which will be an Asian theme as it will be Chinese New Year!

Thanks all, I will close this one today and get into synch with a new two week theme
which is Oriental. I thought it would be something bright for CNY>
