Yep, sure is.....

I have a Playstation, but I haven't bought any new games in about a year since I mostly use my PC. My all-time favorite game on the PS has to be Tekken 2 !!

coolness...just had to ask to be sure

I'm getting the PS2 next week with my IRS return
gotta love that...and it's backward compatible
I love the role playing games, the action/fighting games and of course Gran Turisimo.
But my all time favorite has to be Dance Dance Revolution (DDR), you can find me at the Starcade in Disneyland showing off my moves. practice at home and bust it all out in public...

it's a great workout...I'm up to six feet now...still wondering how people do the 9 feet catastrophic level

I've had my PS2 for almost a year. I just got Klonoa 2. If you can get past the cartooniness, it's actually a pretty cool game. Also among my most recents are the PSone editions of You Don't Know Jack Mock 2 and Final Fantasy Chronicles.

My fiance is really into his new PS2 and all the "sweet" games for it. I've played a few and most of them really suck. I only really like "Crazy Taxi" and "Gauntlet". I've played "Tekken Tag" and "Gran Turismo 3" but they weren't very fun.

But then, my favourite game is, and always will be, "MarioKart64" with some "Goldeneye" multiplayer thrown in... you know, to spice up life a little.

I think it all comes down to "boys with toys"
not that I have a problem with that.
we must all connect with our inner child.

I'll probably get GT3, my brother loves that game
and Final Fantasy and Gauntlet
but like I said...gotta go with DDR

any other good games I should get? maybe, role-playing ones?

Lordy, I've got about every game system made, starting with:

Video Pinball by Atari
Atari 2600,7800
Nintendo
Super Nintendo
Sega
Sega CD
JVC Eye (just like Sega CD)
Sony Play Station
and soon to get PS2...yippee!!
and they all still work!

I like the Twisted Metal series. I've got all 4 of them. My fav is 2 & 4.

I just played TM:Black this weekend...I will have it in my possession soooon.

I like shooting games too. My favorite type are co-operative modes. I'd rather play with someone, than against them.

Sweet Tooth:'Bow down to the Clown'....muahahahahaaaaa

I'm too busy with TwistedMetal: Black....muaaahahahaha

'Don't buy ice cream from Sweet Tooth'....LOL

confuses me cause certain cars corner better
I'll be in my Supra and it corners like crap
then I'll go to a RX-7 and it corners well
so, I'm like HELP!!

Here, L.. This should describe what TW:Black is...

Sweet Tooth

Do you have any cheat/hints/tips sites? I know some really good places. If you want, I could post 'em here.

L. It's not like Doom.

You drive around all different terrains in your vehicle of choice; cop cars, armored cars trucks, dump trucks, tanks, ice cream truck, sport cars, etc.

It's like a demolition derby, sorta. You get to destroy all sorts of things to open up secret areas. It's fun with two people; we lure the unsuspecting cars into 'our trap'. hehe

My brother & I have more fun with it; I've got friends who are dead serious playing it.

ps. I'm 46, he's 54. My Mom plays too. She's 78 yrs young. She likes 'Fighting Force'. It's like 'Streets of Rage' by Sega.

It's so totally like Doom or Wolfenstein.
except it's with cars. big guns, secret areas
you can play Doom 2 multiplayer
I once networked with four people...that was fun
very bloody...

hey, should we be addicted to these kinda games?
kinda violent, eh?

L. I was under the impression Doom was a first person shoot 'em up game. My mistake.
I've never seen it. Now I'm gonna have to check it out...LOL

I think we're old enough to handle the violence. Maybe.?? I grew up watching horror movies, so that might explain some of it. In 'real' life, I'm probably the most non-violent person you would meet.

Doom is old though...but yeah, it is a first person shoot 'em up game...isn't that what Twisted Metal is?
a first person shoot 'em up game just in vehicles?

Ice Cream Truck?????

Maybe I'm confused. What do you mean by 'first person'? Some games I've seen, all you see is their hand or whatever. Or do you mean 1 person shooting, etc.?

In TM, you ride around in cars.

Sweet Tooth drives an ice cream truck. He's the main baddy...lol

'Don't buy ice cream from Sweet Tooth'...lol

right...but you can't see yourself, right?
in Doom all you see is your hand and BFG 2000
that's (big f****** gun) hah!

it seems like you can see the entire vehicle in TM.
that must be fun when it blows up...still kinda first person

Yea!!! I think I've got it!! Right, you just see the cars, no people; except in TM:Black....but we won't go into that ...lol

When the cars explode....wham..they do look neat. Makes quite a mess..hahaaa
