Lynda's latest craft is bead work. I've tried to get her to post in the forum but without success (so far), so I thought I'd post on her behalf to show examples of the necklaces and bracelets she has made. I wish Lynda would write here but she just isn't much of a writer I'm afraid. I can say that she has looked at and admired your necklace Sue. It looks good to me as well ..and I've seen a few necklaces now.

There was a bit of a beadwork event here on Monday. Lynda got chatting to one of the ladies who was running a workshop at the Bead Show held at Sandown Racecourse. She agreed to come to our house to hold a beading workshop. Lynda had to get a number of people interested in coming to it. It turned out there were four of them. They shared the cost of paying for the teacher. So, they all sat down beading for the day.

Me? I was the tea boy to start with, hid away a bit later on and then went out on my bike in the afternoon. The worst part is that it went so well, it could happen again!

I wish that I lived nearer, I would be there!

I have been asked if I will have a table at a street festival Jill, for two days. Cards won't really sell but I thought that jewellery might stand a chance. If it doesn't I will be offloading it on unsuspecting friends like crazy, I am sure you will look most fetching in your jeans rounding up sheep wearing a beaded necklace.

One finished last night, the same basic pattern as the last one but with different shaped beads.

The colours in this one are just yummy! and I love the metallic look of your beads! you really are talented!

They are pearls Toni, they just are hard to photograph well.
