ren33 Moderator Registered: Thu Sep 30 1999 Posts: 12593 Loc: Kowloon Tong Hong Kong	This is the last part of a race report from Shatin Race Course last evening. It tickled me! EURO SWIFTLY and BEST CITY were sent for sampling. Trainer A Lee will be advised that a warning has been placed upon GIVE WELL in respect of its manners after passing the winning post and if it were to offend in a similar manner in the future, the Stewards will give consideration to recommending to the Board of Stewards that the horse be compulsorily retired. I wonder what Give Well did that was so rude? I hope he didn't blot his copybook on the pristine turf of our wonderful track! Apparently he was "bad mannered" after passing the winning post. While Give Well's manners are a concern, I'm more worried about the other two horses being sampled. What part of the horses did the stewards eat? Or was it a sampling banquet and we'll never see Euro Swiftly and Best City on the track again? Since being sampled after winning on 18 January, Euro Swiftly has run again, on February 5. I wonder though, if its drop from 1st to 9th is as a result of having its leg sampled. Best City hasn't been sighted on the race track since. Not only did they sample it on 18 January, they also scratched the poor animal. _________________________ Don't hatch all of your eggs in the one basket 'til the chicken hits the fan.
